I use my hue lights in a fairly robust way. 50 or so lights in a church meeting room with live music. I originally created this setup back in 2013 when Hue was very new to the market. Since then I’ve upgraded my bridge each time a new one comes out. This is by far the biggest upgrade. It allowed me to consolidate 4 existing bridges into one (we have hue lights in 3 rooms and our hallway at the church). Speed and responsiveness improved dramatically as well as reliability. If you’re on the fence I highly recommend it.

It installed very quickly and migrated the old bridge over without any problems. It is working great on WIFI.

I've had the 2.1 version of the Hue bridge for a number of years, but the wall switches and some lights throughout my home would sometimes not respond. Heard great things about the Pro, so I figured I'd give it a try. So far, all devices stay connected and are snappy to respond. Worth the upgrade.
