Without a doubt the nicest string of Christmas lights I’ve ever purchased, put on a tree, or had to liberate from security “spider wire” packaging that someone on team Best Buy forgot to remove before shipping. I own a million hue products and these fit right in with all the rest. As expected from Hue, they are a breeze to setup and configure. One star off because as with a ton of hue products they are ungodly expensive…cmon hue, dont you wanna get back to being light for the people NOT light for the exorbitantly wealthy?

This is my 3rd set of these lights. I absolutely love them and think they add the perfect ambience for outdoor spaces especially. And they’re very reasonably priced considering their function and reliability.

A bit pricy, but even refurbished it works wonders. I recommend these if you want to add some charm to any ceiling. Also the app lets you mimic a fireplace, I cannot stress how amazing that looks on a Christmas tree.

Even though nearly evey picutre of these in use is as cafe our outdoor string lights, the first bold item in the instructions is do not use for more than 90 days. Literally nowhere in all the marketing material I could find nor in any of the specs was this SIGNIFICANT limitations mentioned. These are aimply the most expensive Christmas tree lights ever. Unless you wany to rotate out you $250+ light every 9 months. I verified with Signify/Hue and they conifrmed 9 months 12 hours per day max.

I want to give it 5 stars but the cost was a factor. The amount of effects was a factor too. But the lights are quality. The effects they do have are quality. The fact that it works with my other lights to create a ambiance that's unparalleled, is top notch. If you have Hue infrastructure, it a must have addition. I struggled to use this elsewhere but added to my pre-lit tree and it added something really special. I also used it outside on a set of bushes and that was great too. I hope they add more effects so it can add to the value.

Great because the rest of my home is connected with Philips Hue, but I really wish more effects were available to make these stand out from competitors. Very bright, fits in perfectly with the rest of the Hue products, there's just not much outside that make them worth the price tag. Also a heads up, they are not rated for continues outside use like the description and photos suggest.

First outdoor Christmas so far and they worked great, except HUE can only be programmed to turn on each night for a few colors, not the scene I programmed it to do. So, each night I loaded the Christmas scene I wanted manually with the app. Once this is upgraded I’d be happier with this purchase. I tried using apple’s Home app but it had less options. I believe HUE will make this better, hopefully before next Christmas!

Best Christmas tree lights I’ve ever had. The ability to program them had me memorized. I did have to turn off the flame looking program (jk) it was too authentic. Did I mention best Christmas tree lights I’ve ever had?

I did not put these on a tree. I put them in the rafters of a 3-season room we recently built. They work great. To look at them, they aren't bright. But they do just what I wanted. I have many Hue lights, and these were just as easy to connect. I have them one color usually. Changed to seasonal for Christmas. They look great.

Expensive but great lights. Will continue to use them year round.

I was really excited to buy these as an addition to my loft space. After downloading the App, I realized how limited they are. These lights only have 6 scenes/settings and do not allow control of color variation in the scenes. In addition, they are noted (only in instructions) that they are “seasonal”, meaning they can’t be plugged in and connected to the App for more the 90 days at a time. I am very thankful for Best Buy’s return policy abd was able to return the very next day. The sales associate did get a kick out of my answer when asked why i was returning, wikth the answer “They are lame.

These hue lights are perfect for Christmas! They care also versatile and they can be used for other holidays as well

Fits my tree perfectly i like white light but the kids like it to be colorful so having the option to change and choose is great.

Do not buy. Waste of money. I have used these lights at night and shut off during the day from 6am. Absolutely the worse product purchased. They did not last two weeks and did not make it to Christmas. How sad? I even got Hue bridge thinking it would work again. Nope. Majority do not lit up and the rest blank, no lights. I cannot even turn them off on the app anymore as it was working before. App is up to date. How could they be selling this trash?
