Works as advertised. Placed in middle of living room, about 8 ft off the ground. Set motion sensitivity to highest setting. Device picks up slight to moderate motion and activates room lighting in under 2 seconds. Battery life has been good. Should last approximately six months without needing to change the internal battery. Little expensive compared to similar hardware from other vendors.

It's the gold standard in motion sensors. I use them with Zigbee2MQTT and it's probably the best there is. There are others out there if you are using them with a open systems based hub however that are cheaper. I already have 20 of these but will be buying others if they need to be replaced just because the cost.

As with all things Hue, I wish these weren’t so spendy. But these are fantastic additions to the Hue system. I have them in all of my closets and basements. It’s really the pinnacle of laziness and saves me 3 seconds from touching a light switch. And pleases my techie heart every time I open the closet door.

It does exactly what its supposed to do. Super easy setup and installation. Works with my google home nest hub and My Home. Automatically connected to both systems after setup in the Hue app. Can set up schedules when you want lights triggered. I've purchased two so far and both are performing as advertised.

Purchased 3 Hue Motion Sensors version 2 to use with Lifx LED strip and a couple of Lifx Clean Bulbs. I did lots of research and Hue came out making tbe best with the fastest response time a a decent cool down time. They work flawlessly! Yes Zigbee Hue motion sensors controlling the Wifi lights. The strip is in a closet. The Hue sensor detects the door opening (did not want a contact switch since I have 4 bifold closet doors, One motion sensor can detect any door movement from inside the closet. I use the other sensors to turn the Clean bulbs on and off in the kitchen. How can Zigbee Hues control Lifx Wifi, I use a Habitat hub (no need for a Hue hub) and I get total control of all the smart equipment. I synced the original stuff with their own apps, and then I let the Hubitat built in apps and rules detect and control it all. They all work great!

It does what it says it will. I have it setup in my house to turn on my bathroom hue lights to 5% brightness during the night, and when it doesnt detect motion for 5 minutes it turns then back off. Much better than turning on the lights at full power and waking myself up.

Amazing and reliable item. Easy to pair and so convinient. Use it in the bathroom so at nite light turns automatically on as soon as u about to enter the restroom. So convenient. Then it turns off automatically after whatever time you set it to.

One of the best accessories for the Hue ecosystem. If you are into having smart home devices, consider this for something like your kitchen setup. I added this to ours that has a few light bars on top of our kitchen cabinets. With good placement and preferred lighting color and brightness, you’ll have a motion sensor that will gently illuminate your space for those late night trips to the kitchen.

Phillips Hue has been a hue part of my home enviornment for a while. I just added a new sensor to my lights, placing this one in the bathroom for the purpose of (a) helping with those late night / bright lights issues as well as (b) making sure that the light in the house that never seems to be turned off is now properly turned off when not in use.

Pretty easy to set up in the app. I like that you can customize triggers

Easy to setup! Lots of options you can do for a motion sensor. I put an outdoor sensor in my mailbox and I set it up to be notified when the mailbox is opened. As a result I know when the mailman comes.

Used this in the laundry room to control a smart bulb. Now lights are hands free and automatically shuts off after a minute of no movement. My wife scoffed at this at first. Now she loves it.

Philips makes another great item. Easy to install and thus far works great. Very discreet and links to the app easy. The price is low for what seems a good quality item.
