This smart plug was exactly what I needed to bridge a gap in my home automation setup. It connected quickly and easily, and it’s been rock-solid ever since. Setup was simple, the response is fast, and it integrates perfectly with my system. I’d absolutely recommend it, and I’ll definitely be picking up a few more soon.

Works great with the rest of my Phillips products that I can control with the Phillips app. Perfect for lighting decorations

I wasted my time with Meross, Kasa, Tapo (matter) plugs and found myself wanting (a plug that works). I connected this plug to HomeKit in 5 minutes and I’m never looking back.

Great product and works seamlessly with other non-Hue and Hue products.

Amazing Device, and works from a far distance if you’re looking to turn something on when coming home or setup automations when you get home. Philips is the BEST Brand!

I love the Philips Hue light system. I bought two of these to plug my holiday lights into and control them with my phone and it worked well.
Great to have an outlet that I can control with a hue switch

Does what it is intended to do. Is a good item to extend your hue network

Works as intended but not I was hoping. Easy enough to set up and turn on and off via the app or set a timer. I was hoping I could have it turn on when my Hue Sync box turns on and starts syncing but so far haven’t been able to make it do that. I’m using it for a fan to cool the sync box which will start having issues if it gets too hot. I’m giving it 5 stars because it does work and works well.

Smart plug, fairly easy to set up. Used for Christmas lights and was able to build a schedule to automatically turn on and off. Nice reporting feature to also report on how many hours the device has been in use.

I’ve been a believer in Philips Hue products for about 10 years now. I have found their products to be rock solid in terms of operation along with the platform (Hue Bridge) that supports these peripheral devices. Get everything configured / working and just sit back and watch the system work dependably day in and day out. This smart plug outlet was purchased to control holiday lighting. This product has received some downgraded reviews because in my opinion the consumers did not have complete understanding why this device works the way it does. This is smart plug outlet, only used to turn devices up to 15 amps off or on. Some consumers were under the impression that this smart plug could be used as a dimmer if it was powering a light fixture. No, it only offers switch on/off functionality: no control of light dimming nor control of light color in the case of RGB lights. We need to be mindful that other products in addition to lights can be controlled by these smart plugs. This product is designed to control full power on or off to the device(s) that this smart plug is supplying electricity to. Some consumers reported that this smart plug outlet makes a soft clicking sound when being actuated. This sound is normal. This devices uses a relay to switch the power on or off. The clicking sound heard is that of the relay opening (switching power off) or closing (switching power on). Given that this smart plug outlet has a current carrying capacity rating of 15 amps, the switching relay has to be of sufficient size to carry the load. The sound that the relay produces when actuated is in direct proportion to its’ physical size. The larger the relay the louder the sound made by it during operation. If you are looking for a solid dependable smart plug-outlet this is a great choice. It’s a quality product that should provide a long useful life. While it needs to be controlled by a Philips Hue Bridge, it may not be your best choice if you are only looking to control a single smart plug - outlet. I use the Philips/Hue bridge to already control a Philips/Hue LED light strip that is used as a flat panel television back light, so getting the smart plug - outlet to control holiday lighting was an easy choice.

Simple, problem free device. I don't even think about it being there. I have it controlling a conventional undercounted light that i wanted connected to my smart home system so a smart plug was the way to go. Works seamlessly with my other Phillips Hue devices

First off, I really like the Philips Hue ecosystem and their expanding support for third party accessories. Second, these smart plugs are a great expansion accessories items where you dont have Hue bulbs. I know the Hue info on these shows them for remote table lamps, which work well, but I am using them for remote control of scented wax melters, fans, etc.... in the downstairs/den areas of my house. The setup was very easy and they show up in the app to be named like other Hue accessories. I just wish hue bulbs and accessories were cheaper. The biggest plus is being able to check and see if you left item xxx turned on. These outlets are not designed for high power draw items but they work fantastic for their intended purpose.

These are hard to find, but (like all Hue products) lives up to its reputation for quality and reliability. Pricey as well-just like all Hue products.

Hue always produces a reliable product. Complete control of the light plugged into the plug is possible. Very easy to program tge schedule using the app.

This plug works well with hue app. The only downside is that it doesn’t offer dimming and makes a click sound every time you turn it on and off with the app. No big deal with the click sound but it would better not to have it.

I’ve used other smart outlets from other brands, often times they aren’t, theyre slow, unreliable, but philips managed to impress me with the most reliable one yet. Without fail, when turn off the outlet from the app or from the wireless keypad/switch, it is a near instant response.

Hue integrates with Apple HomeKit (Siri), and Amazon Alexa, and Google for automations in your Smart Home. Setup takes 30 seconds, with existing Hue Hub. Great for Christmas Trees and other holiday decorations that need to be scheduled.

I got this smart plug to control my Christmas tree and it works falsely with the new app and Apple HomeKit
