Hello, all. After having tried to save money a few times by purchasing low-cost alternatives on Amazon, I can tell you these heads are the genuine article and give a very close shave. The knock-offs lack the thin bronze blade that the genuine article has, and give a comparatively poor shave. If you want a shave as good as you had with your shaver when it was new, buy these. Not worth the time and money lost on the counterfeits.

I needed to replace the Shaver Heads in my Norelco Series 5000 Shaver. I was worried that it would be to hard. But I bought the package at Best Buy and it was very easy to replace the heads. My shaver works now as good as the day I purchased it one year ago.

Phillips Norelco makes the best men's razor products. This replacment head is no exception! This shaving head is meant for the SH50 model but also replaces the older HQ8 razor head.

What can I say about the new blades, except they make my razor shave like new again! Easy to take out old ones and install new ones. It's a no brainer. I've used Norelco Shavers since I started shaving about 50 years ago (OMG that's a long time!!!) and they just keep getting better over the years. Good Stuff! Depending on your beard (coarse or fine hair) and how often you shave will depend on how often you need to replace them. Rinsing them after every shave, which takes about 10 seconds max, will keep them performing well, but if they start taking to long to get all the hairs, it's time to change them out. I do it every year or two depending on if I have a full beard (less shaving) or no beard. Good quality and good products.

These shaver heads work well and give a good shave. Periodically the heads/blades/whatever in an electric razor need to be replaced as they wear out over time. Definitely go for the actual Norelco brand heads instead of trying to find some after-market knockoff.

Bought these SH50 Norelco Replacement Heads for my older Norelco rotary shaver. It is recommended that they be replaced every 12 months. I only noticed my shaver was not giving me a smooth/close shave and decided it was about time to replace the heads after 8 years or so. These replacement heads fit perfectly and are doing O.K.. The shave is getting better after a few weeks of shaving. I suspect the heads have a "break-in" . The face of the heads has a different design then my original heads. There are two areas on each head with holes vs slits. I believe the older head design may be better overall then the new design, but I could not find the older design. We shall see how they perform after 30 or 40 shaves. I really like the Norelco Rotary Shaves, this is the second shaver I've had in many years. I believe this shaver gives the smoothest/closest shave for an electric shaver.

Great replacement for well used original shaving head. Suggest putting a couple drops of sewing machine oil on heads twice a week and run the shaver against your palm to distribute the oil to maintain the sharpness of the new heads.

Very reliable blades for my Norelco shaver (series 5000). Easy to install and provides a great shave. Lubricating the blades every once in awhile is recommended to extend the life of the product.

The old razor heads were well past prime. It's like I have a new shaver again at a fraction of the cost.

very good but not cheap I wish the price was much less

New blades have consistently lasted 1 year for the past 20 years using a Norelco; I have no reason to expect anything less. It's rare these days for many consumer items to have the same level of quality for so long. However when it happens, it is greatly appreciated.
