I came across this toothbrush while browsing and thought it would be a great Christmas gift. My daughters, 8&9, were thrilled. They like it better because it’s easier to grip, still “buzzes” their teeth, and has a nifty stand. Easy to clean up and around, simple to replace the battery (I had to dismantle to see if I would have issues due to inability to bend one hand completely.)

My grandson really likes this new electric kids toothbrush. I have given him others in the past and he has stopped using them after a short time and reverted back to a manual brush. I was reluctant to try yet another electric brush. He has had braces and a pallet expander for some time and has always had issues with food getting stuck in the apparatus. He found the smaller head of this brush got into the nooks and crannies of the braces and expander without issue. He also found that the vibrations were just right- not too strong to hurt his gums but strong enough to leave his teeth feeling really clean. The head does not rotate like other electric brushes but he does not feel that is a negative quality. The vibration reminders to move quadrants is awesome. He admits that he does not pay attention to the time he spends brushing so the reminders are helpful to be sure he is brushing long enough. The stand is a nice touch- not needed for charging (it uses a regular replaceable battery) but it keeps the brush off the counter. Overall, this is one electric toothbrush he has used consistently and seems that he will be using for a while.

I got this toothbrush for my daughter to use, since she has been getting older and needing to be more consistent with the timing. I like how this is the perfect size for her to use, it is a great balance in her hand. The bristles are not too hard, about a medium feel bristles which are good for her teeth and gums. When powered on, it cycles into 4 30-second intervals. Each interval is separated by a two pulse indicator. For each interval you focus on a different quadrant in your mouth. The oscillating motion is mostly a vibrating one so it’s not too hard on her teeth/gums. The head can be removed when you need a new one. You would need the specific Philips brand for this, I am not sure of any third party ones yet. The battery can also be replaced from the bottom via a coin to use as a screwdriver. That was rather disappointing: this did not come with a spare toothbrush head or a screwdriver for this. I like it when companies provide those already, so I needed to get a quarter. The battery is AAA and last a few weeks before replacing. After a few weeks we have seen some difference in her teeth.

My 9 year old son truly loves this kid version of the Phillips One toothbrush. It has all of the timer features expected for a Sonicare toothbrush while being simple enough for even small children to use. Initially I was frustrated as the instructions state the handle is only compatible with the Kid sized brush heads - which are very small and clearly designed for much younger children. Thankfully I own the adult Phillips One and was able to quickly compare. I can confirm that the Philips One Kid and the Philips One Adult brush use the same handle and the heads are interchangeable. This means that as kids grow, the brush head can simply be swapped up to the next size with no need to purchase a whole new handle. I love the splash shaped support stand. And, although it does not have any grip underneath, the stand serves its purpose and stays upright very well. The stand even has a hole in the bottom so that water and old toothpaste does not collect inside. My only minor complaints are rather small and insignificant: - The toothbrush does not come with any cap, cover, or travel container. - The back of the brush does not have any texture that would clean the cheeks or allow it to be used as a tongue scraper. - Replacement heads are not overly expensive, but I still think it's absurd that replacement heads cost more than an entire manual toothbrush (for half of they physical material). My son and I both recommend this toothbrush to anyone who wants a functional and affordable electric toothbrush. Philips, Thank you for making the brush replacements readily available and not requiring unnecessary subscription purchases.

Getting my kids to properly brush their teeth has been a battle for ever... So anything to help them better brush is a plus. Philips kid sonic care is a tool to help with my lifelong endeavor. So my 3rd kid is 11 and currently uses an adult size tooth brush that is rechargeable and oscillates in a circular motion. It does fine but his teeth are not straight and I have been debating to get him a smaller head brush to help. This Philips kid is great with addressing my dilemma. Setup is nil. Comes with battery and stand and head. Just put together and you are all set. Took a few seconds. If battery runs out just use a coin to open the bottom and swap out a AAA battery. Size is great for small hands. See side by side with standard Philips Sonicare tooth brush to give perspective. Has the vibration timer to remind them of brush time and all. Color is cool. My kid was excited to see a different color for a change. Only issue I can point out is the stand. You might need to clean frequently as it will collect crud and water. Other than that it works and gets the approval of my 11 year old.

Love this toothbrush for 3 & 8 year old. Perfect shape for reaching back in little mouths. The 30 second timer beeps to let the kids know when to brush the next side. Only wish it came in more colors.

Just right for younger kids… easy to use. Better than a manual, hands down.

A great toothbrush! It brushes teeth much better than more common kid's toothbrushes.

It’s works pretty good but the brush is very small. Bought for my 9 year old and it would be a great size for my 3 year old.
