I feel like it gets my teeth clean!! Plus the price is right!!

This is one of the best electronic toothbrushes I've used. Throughly cleans without too much vibration. Been using this for a few months now and wear is minimal. Slim enough to carry while traveling.

This is a significant improvement over a normal toothbrush and is a great value. I was a bit skeptical, because of the lower price point, but sometimes the simple solution is the most effective. The vibration and timer make a real difference. My teeth feel cleaner after using this compared to my old toothbrush. This works so well I plan to buy a few more of these for my kids (who often don't brush long enough). Pros - Micro vibrations make brushing more effective - 2-minute brushing timer with an alert every 30 seconds helps manage brushing and ensures even coverage. It doesn't beep instead it simply varies the vibration to mark off each interval and just shuts off after the time is done - works great and really helped me. I will admit that in the morning, when rushing to get to work, I was not brushing long enough. - It is much quieter than I expected, and I have no concern using it in the morning while my wife is still asleep. - Soft touch exterior, sleek design and lite weight make the brush easy to hold - Easily replaceable AAA battery (included) - Included Travel case - Brush head is a good is the perfect size for reaching difficult areas while providing good coverage - Easy to use and keep clean, one button to start and stop - Brush head is easy to remove for cleaning and replacement Things to Consider - No low battery indicator - instructions indicate that you should replace when vibration strength decreases significantly. Not a big deal as AAA batteries are easy to find if you need one on a trip and a lot less of an issue that carrying a charger. - Battery replacement requires a coin, key, or other flat object to be inserted in a slot in the cover, so you can turn it a 1/4 turn to release it - it fits snug and has a seal so you do have to wiggle it a bit to remove it. - No adjustment to timer settings. I have sometimes wished I had a little more time, but if you need you can just start it again. - You will eventually need a replacement brush head and you should factor this into the overall cost of ownership.

The Phillips One by Sonicare is a micro-vibrating electric toothbrush that uses a replaceable AAA battery that lasts an advertised 3 months. The toothbrush comes in multiple colors – mine is the Midnight Navy Blue. The toothbrush comes with its own storage/travel case. I have always used a basic toothbrush (like the free one from my dentist), so this is my first foray into electric toothbrushing. Design of the One is pretty standard – it looks like a regular toothbrush. The entire body is made of as soft-touch plastic – there are no rubbery/grippy surfaces. The handle does have a spiral ridge pattern that provides some needed grip a resistance to the toothbrush twisting in your hand. Located in the middle of the brush is the power button. It’s a single function button – on or off. You don’t have to press-and-hold to activate it, just a simple press. The head is replaceable – it simply pulls off. The recommended replacement time for regular toothbrushes is 3 months, so about the length of time for the battery. So I can use the battery running out as a reminder to replace the head. The head itself is fixed – the bristles don’t rotate like a most electric toothbrushes. The travel case is nifty and it holds the One pretty well. I wouldn’t use it for day to day storage, especially closed, to avoid any build up or mildew accumulation. I would have no qualms tossing it in an overnight bag with all my other toiletries. Coming from a standard toothbrush the One is a little weird to get used to. The vibration is at a very high frequency and can make your fingers tingly – it does that to mine every so often. Brushing feels normal for the most part. The One has a couple of features to improve your brushing though which I found useful. The One has a 2 minute vibration timer to help you keep track of how long you have been brushing. That 2 minutes is broken up by a notification pulse every 30 seconds to remind you to switch to a different part of your mouth. These features are fairly useful and a bit eye opening. I didn’t realize how often I would get complacent brushing one area for too long, and then not brushing for long enough all together. As far as brushing performance goes I’m a little on the fence. I feel like a rotating brush head would be more effective. However, I know that the micro-vibrations are helpful and provide better performance over a standard brush head. I should note that I also have sensitive gums which is why I have stayed away from rotating head brushes. With the One I didn’t have any issues with the vibrations irritating my gums. So for the last week of use it has been pretty easy to live with and use. I have always taken good care of my teeth, so I think adding the vibrations will good for me long term. I do want to note a couple of drawbacks. Right now the replacement heads don’t seem to be available anywhere except on Phillips’s website and they are sold in a 2 pack. It appears they plan to offer a brush head subscription plan, but that hasn’t launched yet. It has 2 options – brush head only or brush head and battery. The colors that the One with a replaceable battery come only in the brush head + battery subscription. This is a standard AAA battery that I wouldn’t want or need to rely on a subscription for. Not sure why they divided the subscription up like this. Another drawback I found was with the material on the handle along with the ridges didn’t provide as much grip as I would have wanted. I want a little bit of a rubberized surface to hold onto for 2 reasons. It increases grip, especially when wet, but it would also dampen out the vibrations in my hand. Overall, this is a good toothbrush. It’s not perfect, but I do like it. If you like your standard toothbrush this is honestly a good replacement. Its not that drastic of a leap to go to this style of brush compared to a rotating head.

PROS: - 2 minute timer with alerts at 30 second intervals - battery operated (no charging time wait) - removable/replaceable heads - strong but gentle vibration. Not overpowering - travel case included CONS: - Slight tingly sensation that may be uncomfortable to sensitive gums or teeth at first - case seems a little weak in the hinge. Not sure how long it will last but good for now I got to say, I wasn’t really sure there would be a lot to say about this toothbrush but it really does have some cool features worth talking about. In its raw form, it’s not that much different than any other toothbrush, it has a standard bristle head and classic long shape; but when you add some power and turn it on, this becomes a standard toothbrush on steroids. I’ve had electric toothbrushes before, I’m talking about the big, powerful, tear off your gums, full electric toothbrushes, and this is not one of those. This is more of a step between a standard brush and one of the big fancy electric ones; and that’s exactly what I wanted! This toothbrush has a gentle but powerful vibration that, when combined with the standard way of brushing, let’s you really get all those nooks and crannies clean without tearing up your gums and making you bleed all over. The really cool thing though is the built in timer. The brush will turn itself off after two minutes meaning you don’t have to watch a clock or wonder if you’re really brushing as long as you should. Furthermore, the brush also makes a little vibration alert (like haptic feedback on your phone), every 30 seconds to alert you it’s time to focus on another part of your mouth. This is explained in the included manual and says you should spend 30 seconds each on the inside and outside of both upper and lower teeth. (4 sections of teeth + 30 seconds each section = 2 minutes) It’s a very simple design but effective at making sure you cover your whole mouth thoroughly and of course the added benefit of the vibration helps clean your teeth better than a traditional brush. A few last notes to add, the brush comes with a pretty good travel case, it protects the bristles from rubbing up on anything else in your bag but still has vents to allow the brush to dry out and not mold etc. However the hinge for the cover on the case is just bendable plastic and it seems like it’s already stressed thin out of the box so it’ll be interesting to see how long that hinge last. But it is worth noting, even if it breaks, the cover will still snap in place and work, it just won’t be attached at the hinge. This also isn’t a big deal because toothbrush travel cases are not hard to find or replace. And lastly, like a lot of the full electric brushes, this brush has removable heads so you can share the base unit and/or can simply replace the brush head when it gets old. Overall I really like this toothbrush even though originally I didn’t think it would be any different than my traditional brush or worth a switch. The subtle but effective vibration adds a boost to my cleaning and leaves my mouth feeling more refreshed than traditional brushing and the timer helps me stick to healthy habits. It’s not much, but the minor changes add up and make this brush a perfect middle choice between traditional and fully electric brushes.

The phillips Sonicare one toothbrush is a very simple yet dependable product from Phillips and it is really good at what its supposed to do. Design: the size of this toothbrush is perfect, as its not big nor small, has good grip that almost feels rubbery but its because of the plastic design twist along the handle of the toothbrush. replacing the brush head is as easy as pulling it out and replacing it. changing the batter is very small as it has a horizontal groove that you can open with penny or a flat head screw to take the cap off and replace the battery that is rated for 2 months of use. the brush comes with a 2 minute timer with a 30 seconds left notification. the movement and vibration of the brush is perfect. the brush itself is medium so not soft or hard. The case is very simple and takes no footprint whatsoever and its easy to take the brush out. you simply need to press at the end of the handle and the brush will pop out. the case is made of plastic with a silicone or rubber finish. I really like this toothbrush and its in the perfect price point and I know it will be working for years since it comes from a reputable name like phillips.

I've been using this now for a week and feel like I'm ready to jump on here. This is a fantastic toothbrush that won't break the bank. It leaves my mouth fresh and clean. It's small, extremely lightweight and great for travel. It's perfect for someone that wants to venture toward an electric toothbrush, without having to spend over $100. That being said, it'd be unfair to compare this entry level electric brush to a high end model. That'd be like comparing apples and oranges. Both are round fruit, yet so different. Back to the toothbrush... It's a great upgrade from your normal hand brushing technique. I said it already, but I'll say it again. This is perfect for anyone wanting to eventually buy a smart toothbrush. Get this brush if your teenager or spouse want an electric toothbrush. If they've never had one before, it's a great start and you won't have to spend a lot. It's a tier higher than your manual brush and does a better job, so that's a huge win considering it runs under $30 after tax. It has an internal timer of 2 minutes with 30 second notifications, so you'll definitely get your target areas if you follow it. Break it down and it does it's job. Follow the timer and your mouth gets clean, how easy and simple is that? I usually go a little longer to ensure a good clean. It's simplistic, yet does the job. It's not a deal breaker, but I'd like the battery should last a little longer considering there's only one brush feature, and how small and lightweight the product is. The box says 3 months and I haven't had this quite that long, so we'll see. I'm brushing two times a day, so we'll see how long until it runs out. They've been kind enough to disclose the battery expectancy, so it'd be petty to remove a star. If I have to classify the brushing, I'd say it's a tad past gentle. And this is a good thing. If it were too lax, I'd question the efficiency, but I won't. If you haven't used an electric toothbrush before, this is a great starter. Your gums will feel discomfort for a few days as they get used to the new brushing technique, but after that you'll feel great. It utilizes vibrations. Most of the time, this feature will always be better than a manual brush. Small and compact. Good value, and better than a “standard brush” but pales in comparison to the higher end models. I admit that I am a longtime Sonicare user and a huge fan. I’ve owned several over the years, and now have a second one (the E model) that lives in my travel bag. This one appeals to me because of the price point and its smaller size. IN THE PACKAGE You get the toothbrush and a traveling case. A AAA battery is included and is already inside the toothbrush. This obviously includes one toothbrush head. You also get a travel case that the toothbrush sits snugly inside of. EASE OF USE Dead simple. Push the button. Once you hit it, you get “micro” vibrations and it will run automatically for two minutes. Of course, if you want to disobey your dentist’s advice, you can hit the power button to turn it off before the timer ends. BUILD AND DURABILITY Like all Sonicare toothbrushes, the build quality is exceptional. This toothbrush is much smaller than past Sonicare iterations which is nice for travel. It has a “rubbery” coating to it which is nice for gripping. But this same coating is on the case, and that thing looks dirty after a couple uses. Not a big deal, but it looks well worn after just a couple of uses. QUALITY OF BRUSHING EXPERIENCE It’s quite apparent that the Philips One is a direct response to companies like Quip, who sell electric toothbrushes at basement bottom prices. I’ve never used Quip, but thought about switching based on the price of replacement heads that my current Sonicare Diamond costs. I never did, but thought this Philips One could be the unicorn of brush quality and price. It’s not, but that doesn’t mean don’t get it. If you currently use a higher end Sonicare you might be disappointed, but if you’re upgrading from a manual toothbrush, I highly recommend it. The micro vibrations just don’t feel as powerful as the more expensive Sonicare models. You still get a “clean teeth” feeling, but my teeth didn’t feel quite as smooth and polished as the higher end models. And what I mean by smooth feeling, I can assure you that you will notice a big difference moving up to any electric toothbrush from a manual one, you just run your tongue over your teeth and you feel the difference. I still felt like my teeth were clean with the Philips One, it wasn’t like it didn’t work, but they didn’t feel as clean as my Sonicare Diamond. Which I guess is expected given the price point. I would imagine the comparison is the same between Quip and the Sonicare Diamond CONCLUSION If you are currently using a manual toothbrush, this is a no brainer. I consider the Philips One to be the budget model electric car. It is better than what you have, and the price point makes it hard not to upgrade. If, however, you are using a higher end Sonicare model, say the E-series, and are looking to upgrade or otherwise get a toothbrush with cheaper replacement heads, you could be in for disappointment. And that shouldn’t be seen as a negative, they are just different levels of quality. What I can say is, at a minimum, the Philips One is a great addition for travel. It’s much smaller than the spare E-series I take when I travel which is a big plus. And while I’ve been harping on the difference in cleaning ability, my teeth certainly will be okay using the Philips One while traveling. And the 90 day battery life is a big plus for traveling which means I don’t also have to pack the E-series’ charging base, which is more added bulk. But if you are looking to save money with the cheaper replacement heads, the Philips One is a nice balance of price and cleaning power.

Positives Handle size does not feel too large compared to a manual brush. Brush head size is good for 10 and up*. Timer is helpful! Leaves a great clean feeling on teeth and gums. Economical for an electric brush and brush head costs not too much more than a Colgate or Oral-B manual brush that I have seen. Replaceable battery Fun Colors! Coming from using a manual brush, I really like this one. I don’t have any negatives for this product, but maybe a couple grievances. 1). The travel case; glad it comes with one, but questioning how long it will hold up. The case is of a rubbery plastic texture and a solid piece. The hinge is just thinner than the two halves and is pre-flexed. I just don’t see this lasting too long for heavily travellers or using it daily to hold your toothbrush. 2). Exactly where can I buy replacement heads? BestBuy website doesn’t show replacements available, so far can only find them on Philips web-page. The packaging and materials do not give any indication on where to buy the replacement heads. Looks like there will be a subscription model for replacements in the future, which they have about 2 months to get that going before people are ready to be looking for the replacement head. 3) Brush head is bristle only. I do like a little silicone in my brush...hah, I guess silicone parts are not just for toys anymore! So maybe they will introduce a blended brush head? Again this short list I don’t consider negatives, just observations and suggestions. As the product is on the market longer, I’m sure it will all get addressed or updated, but if it doesn’t, then it doesn’t dissuade my recommendation in any way. I definitely think this is a sweet spot in function and value for an electric brush...and I love me some subscription models; one less thing to remember! I am supposed to be using an electric brush, as my dentist recommended long ago, as I brush too hard. I did heed this warning and tried the rotary and vibrating styles, but found that they were either too aggressive or the brush heads were just too pricey for me to justify. The online knock-off replacement heads were too weak of an offering and never felt like they were cleaning and/or just fall apart while brushing. And some of the electric brushes were quite large in hand and just felt awkward to use. So for a little over two years now I have been back to a manual toothbrush and just really tried to not brush too hard and pay attention, but maybe I am a little ADHD and just zone out and think about life not focusing on the task at hand...I’m a bad Padiwan! I did try a competitor of Philips, that also used the vibrating method and had an app to go hardcore into your daily enamel washing, but I just didn’t find them equipped to the task. I like that Philips gives the option of Replaceable and Rechargeable, given your perspective of renewable you get a choice. I prefer Replaceable, one it cuts down on one more thing in my life that needs to be recharged and have a specific charger and not stay plugged in all night, etc. Two, rechargeable batteries will die at some point and then you have to replace the whole thing. Alas, you get to decide which option is better for you. Also, at least in the photos the rechargeable brush handle looked a little thicker than the replaceable version. *Lastly, if you are wondering why I know it is a good fit for ages 10 and up, I’m in a family of 4 and go super hardcore in my product testing before writing my reviews, so my wife and two kids each tried it out and approved!! Did you just vomit a little in your mouth reading that? Well, the Philips One Toothbrush is a great product to help get that funk flavor out-ya mouth!

I recently got the Philips Sonicare Toothbrush, and it’s hands down the best travel toothbrush I’ve ever used. The compact design makes it easy to pack, and the battery life is amazing—I don’t have to worry about constantly charging it on trips. The sonic cleaning power leaves my teeth feeling fresh and polished, just like a professional cleaning, and it’s way more effective than a regular manual toothbrush. Plus, it comes with a sleek travel case, keeping it clean and protected in my bag. Whether I’m at home or on the go, this toothbrush is a must-have for maintaining great oral hygiene anywhere!

I have used sonicare toothbrushes since their very first model was introduced. I am also a RDH with 20+ years experience. I was intrigued by this latest model. I found that it is not as good as the original. Here is a list of the pros and cons, you decide. Pros: 1. It is slim and easy to travel with. If you lose it at the hotel, it won't break the bank. 2. It does have sonic activity. (Tested, confirmed, see pic). 3. It has a 2 minute timer built in and auto shut off. 4. No charging required. 5. A rechargeable battery could easily be used (the kind that charges outside the device in it's own charger station). 6. If the original sonicare is too powerful for your sensitive teeth, this is much less aggressive. Cons: 1. Weak compared to the original sonicare 2. Less stain removal capability than the original since it's weaker. 3. I am less confident oxygen is getting under the gumline to target anaerobic bacteria (the kind that does not need oxygen to survive and is more destructive to teeth and gums). See pic to notice there are no bubbles or splatter being created by the Philip One Sonicare toothbrush compared to the original that I own. 4. The brush head is larger than the original, and that is not ideal for a child's mouth (if you were considering this for a kid). It feels large in my mouth compared to the original I own. 5. The brush heads are specific for this toothbrush. It is not interchangeable with the original models that look similar. 6. It is slim, if you have arthritis and enjoy the larger sized model's handle, this will be a lot different. Not bad, just not as easy to grip as the bigger, original one. Side note: To remove the battery, you will need a flat head screwdriver or a butter knife to make a quarter turn and release the cap. Would I recommend this to a friend? It depends. If you are aware it is not like the original and has these key differences but don't think you will mind, yes I would recommend it. If you want something like the original sonicare, then definitely not. You will be very disappointed if you compare it to the original.

I have used Sonicare toothbrushes at a few different points in my life. As a single man, the giant handled one worked fine. As a married man, switching out the heads between my wife and I was a pain, but doable. Now, with a family of 4, switching parts is not gonna happen! The smaller, slightly less powerful Sonicare is just what we needed. Everybody gets their own and they save alot of space compared to the docks of the full size ones. Plenty of colors available, so no mixups. Battery life has been great and my teeth feel super clean. I will recommend this toothbrush to all my friends.

Been using Philips products for years. Reliable and last for years. This toothbrush is no different. Just insert a AAA battery and you're good to go. You get 90day battery life . Has a 2 minute timer . Perfect for travel. It brings a case. Replacement heads are cheap and easy to find. I used it and it worked great.

The Phillips Sonicare toothbrush comes with a case that easily opens and closes. The toothbrush has a timer and can be great to have for those that want to make sure you brush for at least two minutes. The bristles of the brush are soft and when brushing does did not irritate my gums. The color received was bright and makes it easy to locate fast. Would like to see a spin brush create at this price point. Overall, would recommend it to others who are looking for this type of brush.

It is very portable and works well. I used it for the first time traveling to Los Angeles and love it.
