The clip busted off almost immediately when attaching to the inside colar of my shirt, which was the only thing covering the red recording light. Without the clip it is very bright and and definitely sticks out. On the positive side, the recording quality is absolutely fantastic, and can record for hours I would recommend for sure.

While audio and features are good, the clip fell off immediately, revealing the otherwise discreet recording light. The clip is entirely useless and cannot get it to clip back on. Its a very poor design how the clip attached to pen, and seems likely to fail very easily on many units

NOT VERY DISCRETE. Unlike some of the cheap brands on amazon which offer the same thing, the only difference is that you cant just put a sticker over the big bright red light since it comes from the inside of the pen. On the cheap Amazon brands which worked but the sound quality was garbage, you could place a small sticket over the hole so thay no one suspects you. It’s a nice pen, writes nicely, but being that the cap is magnectic, they should atleast include some replacements for the price tag. Overall, it useful and good quality but BE CAREFUL ESPECIALLY in low light since the red light is basically a projector.

Purchased this for documented conversations with my employees. When I plug it into my phone, the usb device is found immediately, and you can listen to your recordings. You can delete files as well...no need for the sembly app or any other Phillips mobile apps. Sound is clear and writes beautiful. Nice heavy pen. I wish you could see battery life

It works well. The accompanying Sembly AI voice to text is beyond anything I expected. However, on three different pens the fastening clip easily broke off almost immediately with loss of unit.?If that happens, secure the recorder and purchase a pack of attachable pen to shirt clips from any nig box store.

It is made great and such a good working pen too. Suprsingly enough it does write great and comfofortable feel too !!! Really is worth the money. Recording and all is great. Overal directions are kind of confusing but not to hard to figure out.

This is a great tool for helping catch office meetings! While I take notes, it's nice to have the backup audio to refer back to at times. Or during lectures - you can't always take notes as fast as you would like, and it's nice to refer back to the audio later on.

[Employee of bestbuy] While the pen itself is nice and has a hefty weight to it, the clip has popped off and doesn't slide back into the device. This leaves a bright shining red light facing the user or anyone in the room. It's distracting and for the cost of this pen device, it should NOT have simple quality issues like this. Many other users have noted the same issue.

i would say its best choice for lessons and meeting, instead of noticing by hand just use this pen

This pen is super handy! I have a terrible memory so i have to take lots of notes. This pen is great for double checking what I wrote and be sure i didn't miss anything.

The recorder was simple to use and recorded an interview clearly. The recorder red light was great to see when the recorder was active and discreet around the clip.

The pen works well and the Free Sembly.ai software is the Bomb! Dad loves it! We highly recommend.

Good recording quality, great overall. I'd recommend exercising frugality for writing as the refill cartridges are quite compact.

Good for notes to self and such. It does what it says it does and is very useful so far.
