Very disappointed, not worth a $1000.00 or even close Cant adjust the equalizer only has 3 presets for adjustment, operating instructions are nearly non exsistent When its on siri with volume st 40 you can barely hear her Max volume of 40 is ridiculous Even with a rockford fosgate amp the volume level is crappy Very flimsy screen once mounted Back panel is impossible to get on unless you use the spacer thst they call an option, not an option if tou want the rear cover on Started to buy the Kenwood, now im regretting this pioneer junk. Purchase. Really sucks for the money

They will provide troubleshooting assistance.
The unit has 2 custom EQ settings, to allow you to make adjustments on 13 bands.
They will have you check the speaker mode. STANDARD is what most systems should be set for.

My last head unit was a Kenwood, and I was very happy with it. When it stopped working, I decided to get a pioneer instead. I’m very happy with this head unit and its features. So far it has function flawlessly, looks great, and sounds great. I really like the way that I can customize the background, EQ, and other settings. The sound quality is crisp and full in the screen is excellent. The only thing I don’t like about it, and why I rated 4 stars, is the mounting of the screen. It seems like a lazy design. Too difficult to do too many possibilities for failure. Once it’s installed, it looks great though.

Overall, this has been a great upgrade to my wife’s 2018 Toyota Highlander. The screen is large and resolution is great. CarPlay integration works great. Extremely easy to setup and use. Upgrading the firmware was easy using the app. Upgraded firmware has some fixes for minor issues and improved CarPlay functionality. Improved audio sound even with factory speakers. Lastly, install at Best Buy went smoothly and quickly. Retained factory features on the steering wheel and factory USB. Extra parts needed for the compatibility. Great experience from order to install.

I was in the market to upgrade my stereo on my 2016 Scion tC and after looking at a variety of floating screens/brands, I decided to go with the inexpensive alternative which was this Pioneer with the luminous bar. First and foremost I need to shoutout the Best Buy team for doing a quick install, I previously purchase a drone dash cam and they did I tremendous job on it. I was not disappointed for going with this alternative. It is the second week that I’ve been driving my car with this receiver and I have to say I am highly impressed with it. Very responsive, sleek design and decent sound. I am glad I went with a more budget friendly option. I would highly recommend it if you are in the market for a new floating screen.

I installed a Ram Promaster cargo van and all its functions work, better than the original. If you install it with the proper cables, you can have the tire pressure and all the Tucarri indicators on your radio, such as speed, rpm, gas level, etc.

Compare it to the DMH 8600. It sounds different. I like my other one better. This one's okay for a small system. But for a bigger system, I like to dmh, 8600 better.

4th Gen Toyota Rav4. Coming from a Sony XAV-AX3000 aftermarket head unit. This felt like the upgrade I had hoped for several years ago. The floating display sits right in place, perfectly centered (Don’t let your spouse tell you it’s not going to fit). The display layout is clean and intuitive. Built in HD radio without having to find a separate tuner is a godsend. The display is fast and responsive. Only downside might be that the Anti-glare screen works as in you’re not getting painful reflections, but it doesn’t help you see the screen much in indirect light. The sound quality is noticeably better than the Sony was. Bass is present but not thumpy by default. But it can get there if you want it. Don’t push the volume past 25 though; it gets muddy, even with quality aftermarket speakers. USB connection works without dropouts but Apple Carplay connects before my seatbelt is fastened. The LED/ambient lighting is cute, but you’ll probably disable it in a couple of weeks. You get to upload a splash screen that shows every time you start the vehicle. That’s the cherry on top of everything for me. I’m all about customization.

Previously I had the 7” screen and had problems with it blacking out on the navigation mode and had they had to send it out to the manufacturer for repair. After 3 weeks out and reinstalled, I had the same issue. The manager told me that he had swap it out so I decided to pay for the upgrade and went with the 10” screen and it is amazing!!

After living with this for a month, and coming from a Kenwood system, I can safely say this is an amazing head unit! The screen size and clarity is great, all the icons are very large and sharp. It works great as just a regular radio, the signals are as good as factory. The wireless Apple CarPlay is fast and hassle free, and the maps are easy to read since everything is so large!

Wasn’t planning on spending the money on this headunit but it was worth the price need to wire in my speed sensor but havent had any issues unlike my previous unit which was also smaller and wired car play. Now i get to enjoy not leaving my phone the car on accident from time to time.
