I had this Pioneer unit and a backup camera (Pioneer ND-BC8, SKU 4583927) installed by the Geek Squad staff on a 2006 Toyota RAV4 with Base Audio and no steering wheel radio controls. Installation went smoothly and it took about 3.5 hours. In order to install this Pioneer unit, I had to purchase a wiring harness (SKU: 677379) and the dash kit (SKU: 5997241). The radio works great, CDs and m3s play flawlessly, and Bluetooth connectivity is good; I have noticed that it does not connect automatically (I leave my cell phone's Bluetooth on) when I start the car. For safety reasons, DVDs only play when the car is parked. The only reason I took away one star is because the unit does not have the parking assist lines (see the pictures). Lastly, I purchased this unit in "Open-Box Excellent" condition, which saved me about $25.

Be harder to find out what it doesn't have. Plays cd's check, DVD Movies check, Digital Media Check. Made for your iPhone/iPod so siri works great to access your music, videos, and most applications. I own a Samsung Galaxy so the USB Quick Charge port charges my phone while I play my music from my phone. Yes it has BLUETOOTH So you can drive safely while using Hands free calling. Plus it your passenger doesn't like your music tell him to use his phone to play that new Eminem Music to be Murdered by.... What else can I tell you HD radio, SiriusXM's ready, app radio mode, subwoofer control, 3 RCA pre-outs, 50Wx4, SuperTuner3D+ Full customization of speakers treble, bass, equalizer, Honestly you start playing with all the settings you will spend hours but pure enjoyment. After you find the perfect sound just kick back watch a movie because it makes DVDS look like 4k plus with the movie preset you just finished. This is why you didnt throw all them DVD movies out. Then hit your music preset to listen to sum music. Whole alot of bang for your buck. I got lucky bought this when it was the Deal of the Day for half the price. But after installing it I would of paid full price in been happy. So If your looking for a great double din radio dont look no further you find it. Would RECOMMEND To ANYBODY that's shopping for a radio. A Must Buy!!!! P.S Yes it has a remote !

I cannot think of what this radio does not come with or have. 3 preamps, enough said. Built in 13 band eq, crossover functions for the 3 seperate categories, in which are all fully adjustable....its crazy with all the adjustments. If you would liketo know what your intake temp is that day, fuel mixture %, tach and speedo and tire pressure....only doen point is instructions could have been better. Only reason, my first world prob. Oh, andthe gaggle of wires when paired with the Maestro harness. You’ll see. Took a pic also of first initial install, and everything worked moment as there was a couple questionable wires on the aftermarket harness that were a bit fuzzy on proper location. Is it called thee brake parking brake etc...youll see

Absolutely love it! Great display, great features. Bluetooth works great. Keep finger prints to a minimum with the supplied remote.

I was looking for a touch screen radio that had hands free phone and supports a backup camera. This radio does a good job of both. I have a large amount of music on a flash drive. This radio identifies the song & artist when using the flash drive.

Excellent Radio. Good price. Tremendous qualities for the price. I also put a reverse camera and it was very good. Excellent image. Good microphone quality on calls ... Works great with Android.

When paired with the PAC RP4-FD11 Interface and Harness this was a super easy install. Just connect the head unit harness to the RP4-FD11 harness, set the interface switch to 7 (for Pioneer) and swap the radios... it was that easy.

Did a nice upgrade to my 2000 Nissan maxima. It was an easy and simple install. Removed the factory head unit for a nice well needed double din so I could install my subs.

Sound quality is great and the picture quality when playing movies is like watching a small 4k tv. Great product for the price

My husband is very pleased with his new radio. The only thing missing is an auxiliary input. I love the fact that when I ride with him, I can access my music and enjoy the radio as well.

Has plenty of options and customization. Powerfull and easy to use. Can even customize your background.

This radio was everything I had been looking for. It connects to my phone in seconds and makes my car interior look a lot newer than it is.

the Pioneer - 6.2" - Built-in Bluetooth - In-Dash CD/DVD/DM Receiver - AVH-501EX is to big for the 2012 RAM 1500 . you will have to modifie the sub dash which is metal it is not a fun job but I like the radio so I did it

The camera works great. Our mustang has the louvers on the Windows so it is very hard to see out of. The new camera makes it so much easier to get out of parking spaces now.
