Q: Can you use the to listen to music on a PC or home stereo?
A: Cliff's Notes = Yes I have only used them at the gym, but I know they came with a cord that is < 1/4". It's a DJ length cord so you may want to replace for home stereo applications. I've had many pairs and really like these. The price is nice. Not drying them off each time would turn them gooey I think. Haven't got there yet though (after a few dozen workouts). Burned through a few handfuls in the last couple decades :( Mostly inferior earbuds. Left them in my pockets when doing laundry :( No chance of that happening with these. I really enjoy Pioneer DJ gear (djm-450, ddj-xp1, ddj-400) and these headphones haven't disappointed. Only used them at the gym though. My old DJ headphones from 1998 still work amazingly and hold to 1 ear better than these. Would use these outside of my studio for sure. Haven't been playing out =\
