Customer Ratings & Reviews

I just installed this amp to replace my failed kenwood excelon x600f. I did not expect the clarity, or quality from such a compact amp, especially one by pioneer. Main reason I purchased this amp was the rms ratings matched what I already had. Right out of the box with default settings it pushed my polk audio 6.5 components in the front and my morel maximo 6 in the rear with ease and crisp, clean response I was impressed and rather shocked to know I was missing something when I turned this little beast on. My other amp was failing on the rear channel plus getting slight distortion on the front. Now, i'm sitting in the driver's seat feeling my hair fly back while smiling ear to ear.(old pioneer commercial) Only thing I do not like is how the rca inputs are on opposite side of the amp. Made my install a bit awkward looking with the setup I already had. Other than that, this thing is downright lean and mean...

Perfect 4 channel amp for the price, installation was great and professional looking

Awesome amp. Happy with the sound out put.. . Like that you can connect another amp to it . With out running a additional r c a wire

I purchased this amplifier to power four Alpine Type R 6x9s. The sound is super crisp, and I have pushed this amplifier hard every day for over one month without issue. Its size is slightly large in comparison to my Kicker 800.1, but it can easily mount to seats, under seats, or to an enclosure. This amplifier provides great value, as it is the only one in its price range to have solid reviews and 100w rms/channel. You will not be disappointed.

This is my first experience with an amp manufactured by Pioneer and I’m impressed so far. I like it so much that I’m thinking of buying another Pioneer amp to power the subs.

This is a nice quality amp. I installed it easily and it made a complete different with my aftermarket door speakers.

So far so good i drive alot it helps with the drive

Great amp. Had it installed through BestBuy. They told me to go to a store to have it when it was really at a different store. Really appreciated the inconvenience and also how they scratched up my door. Will not consider them for the speaker install!

I purchased the amp to add on to my underwhelming Silverado factory system. The compact size was great and would fit under the passenger seat. It's more powerful than I would have expected. Being able to bypass the need for remote wire was nice. I ended up disconnecting the wire-to-RCA adapters and added an Audio Control line out converter to eliminate some ground loop noise.

Excellent sounding and powerful amplifier. I compared it directly with an audison amplifier which cost twice the pioneer (though it was rated at 75x4), and there was virtually no difference between the 2. Maybe the Pioneer was a tiny bit less detailed, but you would have to really pay attention to notice the small difference. The Pioneer also did control the speakers slightly better at max volume, as it has more power. Definitely runs warm to hot, but never excessively & never went into protection mode. The only negative is the controls are on the sides, so making minor adjustments (which are an absolute must to set levels) is a bit of a pain once the amp is mounted. Anyway, highly recommend.

Easy to use. Clear sound, small devive and nice look. It's a very good device for a standard installation for ordinary people who simply want to increase the sound level, without the need for highly professional installations.

Theis little guy livened up my focal speakers really well. Does a good job with hi-res music. Pioneer always seems to impress with their products. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their music quality. Its not just loud, its clear.

Improved performance and sound quality . Easy fit in space provided and worked as expected

Excellent amplifier. The incoming signal is amplified perfectly. The sound quality is impressive. I installed it in a 2026 Toyota Camry, paired with a Rockford Fosgate DSR1 processor, two pairs of Kicker 51KSS6704 KS speakers, and a 51HS12 Hideaway subwoofer. The sound is impressive.

I recently purchased a Pioneer amplifier. It was very easy to install, and the setup process was straightforward, even for someone without much technical experience. However, I was disappointed with the quality of the RCA jacks. One of them broke shortly after installation, which raises concerns about durability. The dented output connection was also frustrating to see on a new unit. Overall, the sound quality is decent and performs okay for everyday use, but the build quality could definitely be improved.

Absolutely love this amp. My old Kenwood FOUR channel app went out on me after about six years once I hooked up this pioneer it made my speakers sound better than my old Kenwood. Very very happy with the speakers sound

I purchased this amp to replace another Pioneer amp that was ruined by a Geek Squad installer at the Mayfield Ohio Best Buy Store. My Pioneer amp and subwoofer worked great until I went into Best Buy to have a radio installed. My subwoofer was replaced but my amp which was not wired (grounded) properly or mounted securely was ruined from the botched install. The installers at this store are terrible. One even told me that he'd installed a set of door speakers that he really never even opened up. The general manager at the store refused to replace my damaged amp, and smiling, told me to take my buisness elsewhere or install it myself.

Easy installation works very well for a budget.Amp with a lot of power

Install this amp in a Challenger amp is very good quality matches the speakers which were new complete system

This amp hasn't given me any troubles. The sound quality is great, which is always a worry for me. It's not super bulky and finding a spot for it was very easy.
