About this product
Limited orange colored vinyl LP pressing. Includes digital download. Hologram is the first from New York Post-Punk legends A Place to Bury Strangers on their own newly formed tag, Dedstrange. Hologram is the follow up to their highly regarded fifth album, Pinned, and is a sonic return to A Place to Bury Strangers' rawest, most unhinged sound. With songs addressing the decay of connections, friendships lost, and the trials and tribulations of these troubled times, Hologram serves as an abstract mirror to the moment we live in. Written and recorded during the on-going global pandemic and in the midst of the decline of civilization, Hologram is a sonic vaccine to the horrors of modern life. Album Tracks 1. End of the Night 2. I Might Have 3. Playing the Part 4. In My Hive 5. I Need You

Synthesizer is the title of A Place to Bury Strangers' seventh album. It is also a physical entity, a synthesizer made specifically for A Place to Bury Strangers' seventh album. Synthesizer is a record that celebrates sounds that are spontaneous and natural, the kind of music that can only come from collaboration and community. It now features a fully collaborative new lineup, with John and Sandra Fedowitz. That spirit of reinvention is all over the record. Synthesizer is out October 4, 2024 - only on Dedstrange. Album Tracks 1. Bad Idea 2. You Got Me 3. It's Too Much 4. Plastic Future 5. Have You Ever Been in Love 6. Comfort Never Comes 7. Disgust 8. Don't Be Sorry 9. Fear of Transformation 10. Join the Crowd
Rather than fixate on the minute details like they may have done in the past, the group, rounded out by drummer Robi Gonzalez, trust their instincts and try to keep things as pure as possible. Music is much more exhilarating when it's unpredictable even on repeat plays, and this is very much an unpredictable record. Gonzalez makes his recording debut with the band here, and it's obvious that he's helped pushed the band's recordings closer to the level of their infamous live shows. Album Tracks 1. Supermaster 2. Straight 3. Love High 4. What We Don't See 5. Deeper 6. Lower Zone 1. We've Come So Far 2. Now It's Over 3. I'm So Clean 4. Fill The Void 5. I Will Die
