More Than a Game — It Changed How My Child Thinks
I bought Planet Zoo as a gift for my son, who is a special-needs child with a deep love for animals. What I didn’t expect was how profoundly this game would change the way he thinks, learns, and engages with the world. Before this, most of his screen time was spent on repetitive YouTube videos. With Planet Zoo, that pattern completely changed. He now plans habitats, thinks about animal needs, balances resources, and makes thoughtful decisions. I can literally see him pause, think, adjust, and try again — something that rarely happened before. The realism of the animals is incredible. He recognizes behaviors, names animals, and talks about caring for them as if they are real. For the first time, screen time feels purposeful and educational instead of passive. As a parent, I deeply appreciate that I can control the content while still giving him freedom to explore and think dynamically. This game didn’t just entertain my child — it helped him grow.
