Works just as well as the 'official' brands
I was a little hesitant purchasing this because I've had previous third party lightning cables that were incompatible with my iPhone/iPad; When this happens you'll see an error on your device that says something like 'This accessory is not supported.' I'm happy to report that everything works as advertised and it's especially nice to see a cable that matches the white and gold accents of the gold iPhone. Best of all the 'Platinum' brand is typically less expensive than all the other third party brands so this is a great way to save a few bucks. READ BELOW IF YOU WANT TO SAVE EVEN MORE! At the time of this writing, Best Buy has longwithstanding promotion where you can you can save an additional $30 if you purchase 3 or more accessories. This is an awesome deal if you are in the market for something a bit pricier such as a bluetooth speaker or bluetooth keyboard. When I was bought this cable, I also bought an inexpensive cigarette USB car chager and I was able to effectively deduct $30 from a bluetooth speaker that was already on sale! If you do a little research on the current weekly ads you can save a LOT of money! Great cable to go with the Platinum Quick Charger
We left home on vacation and forgot our chargers. Bought this to go with the Platinum Quick Charger as some USB cables will interfere with the ability to charge at the maximum speed. Works great. Highly recommend it with the Quick Charger. Fully charges a completely empty phone in one hour (HTC One M8).

Great replacement
My iPhone 5 charger broke, so I got a convenience store charger. That one worked for maybe a week before it wouldn't get supported by my phone. I found this one at my local store and bought it, have had no problems at all with it.
