Works very well just like the apple brand cable. Charges my phone very quickly and the best feature is the light at the charging port which makes it very easy to plug in. I purchased this as an open box item and looked like brand new upon receiving it through the mail. Highly recommend !

Cable is quite sturdy and the light is a fantastic addition to the cable. I've purchased a second cable and neither show wear after being used around the house and the office. Charges the iPad and iPhone 5s without issue. I highly recommend it

This is the second time I've purchased this charging cable. We now have a couple of them in the house. They charge quickly and I like the nice little light up feature when you plug it into the phone. It makes it nice to be able to see where you're plugging your phone in if it's a little dark. The cable is a little longer than the standard charging cable your phone comes with- which is a plus.

The light is neat, it lets you find the cable easily and times out after 3 seconds or so of not touching it, which is nice if you charge your phone in your bedroom. Aside from that, it charges just as it should. Hopefully, it does tell the cable isn't supported like all the other "made for i-devices" cables have so far.

I like the LED light feature that guides you to the slot to plug it in. Seems study and works well with my device, iPod Gen 6 but should work with most iPhones as well. I just use it with my desktop since I already have an apple connector to roam around use. Nice device though over priced...

I have another Platinum cable, that is over a year old by now, and it has a premium look and feel with a braided metal design. That is what I was expecting with this cable since the picture doesn’t clearly show the actual cable part, mainly just the connectors. The cable looks and feels like the standard white cable that Apple includes with all their devices. The actual connectors do look premium and are made of metal. What really makes this a cool cable is the LED that is built in around the Lightning connector - a simple touch of it turns on the LED for a few seconds. I don’t know about others; but, I still struggle connecting my iPhone or iPad into the Lightning port when it’s dark - yes, it’s easier than trying to plug in micro-USB; but, still a challenge. It’s a great cable to use at home, in the car, or when traveling. Thanks to the LED, it’s now super easy to do. I do wish Platinum would release one of their metallic cables with the LED built in and hopefully Best Buy will carry it.

I use this in conjunction with my iHome iBN43. Works great, plus the Lightning end lights up when you touch it. This is very handy when plugging in your phone at night.

Excellent for those with bad or blurred vision. Have had one for a year and still working great. Finally purchased another one for next to my bed. Great when wanting to plug phone to charger at night or in the dark.

I love this power cord. It's durable and functual. I use it in my car and when it's night time it's easy to plug in with the light. The light is such a cool feature! I'd definitely purchase this cord again

End lights up when you touch it so you can see to plug it in in low light situations. Has worked flawlessly with my iPhone for over a year now. So I purchased 2 more. Best cable ever.

This cord was purchased for my teenager who is very rough with cords. So far so good! It has withstood the everyday usage by a teenager. The touch light at the end of the cord comes in handy too!

This cord is 4' long so it makes easy to still be on my ipad while charging it. The cord is thick and durable so theres no worry about it breaking. It also chargers extremely fast.

This cord is surprisingly quite durable. I use it constantly and so far no problems. I like the light on the end of cord that helps you see what your connecting to in low light.

I had plenty of frayed charging cables and needed a more durable solution. This cable provided the best strength and even an led for use in the dark. Now I had to order 4 more. Great item!

After using cheap cords to keep my iPod charged, I went with this one to actually be able to sync to my laptop (the cheap ones didn't). It's working great. Plus the touch light helps if you're trying to charge it in a dark room without waking anyone.

This charger is GREAT! It not only charges your device quickly, it also has a light which comes on when touched on the end. Makes it fabulous to plug up your device at night!

The cable works well, so far (after 1 week). The price was good compared to other brands. The light up LED doesn't really matter, although if you were trying to plug it in in a low light situation, it could be useful.

Have bought many 'certified for iPad' cables in the past, with mixed results. Everything from overheating the charger, to not charging efficiently, or poor durability. This cord is very tough, carries excellent current to the device and has the added feature of a lighted tip, to aid in inserting into the device

A well-made cable that suits it's purpose perfectly. The lighted end is great for plugging in at night in a vehicle. Heavy enough to withstand slight abuse.
