This holster has a serious issue with the clip
I have owned several generations of the Platinum holster, because I often upgrade to the newest iPhone. I have always been really pleased with the previous versions of this holster, but this one has a serious flaw. The clip has been redesigned, and is extremely weak at the point it rotates on the pin to clip onto a belt. The first unit I bought broke on the very first day of use. I thought it was a fluke. I got it replaced about 6 weeks ago, and I can see a visible crack in the hinge again. It is still functional, but it will certainly fail soon. I am uploading a photo showing the crack in the second holster. I gave previous versions of this holster glowing reviews, but this version (for iPhone X) is seriously flawed. I won't buy another unless they change the design.

Second one I’ve had. Broke in the same place. Needs to be redesigned.

Great Solution for Case & Holster
I had to return the original one purchased because the clip for the holster broke far easier than it should have. I feel that it could be made a bit more robust but I like the form factor so much I opted for another one. Of course I will be careful with the understanding that it may be easy to break if I’m not mindful of it’s position. Also, the included case still allows the phone to be wirelessly charged because of its thinness; which is very convenient. Very satisfied!
