A: TL;DR: No. My received gray card is measured 28% reflectance. Also, the gray and white cards have significant color shift from neutral gray. The gray card is 4 Delta-E towards cyan; the white card is 8 Delta-E towards violet. The attached image shows a comparison of the gray card against X-Rite ColorChecker Classic. The detailed measurement values: Gray card: CIEXYZ = (26.512024, 28.188942, 23.882407), CIELAB D50 = (60.059053, -2.707420, -1.172272). Delta-E = 3.86. Hue shift up to 8 Delta-E. The gray is 28% not 18%
My received gray card is 28% reflectance. (The standard gray card should be 18%.) Also, the gray and white cards have significant color shift from neutral gray. The gray card is 4 Delta-E towards cyan; the white card is 8 Delta-E towards violet. (Technically speaking, anything above 2 Delta-E is noticeable by normal people. Designer's monitors should be calibrated to less than 1 Delta-E.) Considering its price, I am very disappointed with its quality. If I use this product to calibrate my camera, my resulting pictures shift a lot towards orange!
