After buying 2 separate boards, because this product was sold-out, where one was either defective or was not matched properly, this set is working great! The value for size and performance was the best.

The item came in right on time and the only thing I was really worried about was the voltage it was supposedly using. I would suggest updating that Voltage to 1.3 as that is how much it actually uses. And It's SODIMM RAM. Anyways I was praying the entire time it was being shipped here that it was the right RAM, and the right RAM it was! I got it when it was on sale so I saved quite a bit,and I'm satisfied with such. Paid less than a hundred for it and now instead of my Laptop reading 7.8 gigs it now reads 15.8 gigs. now to upgrade my Hard drive to an SSD drive.

Was looking for a performance upgrade for my overworked MacBook Pro. Good price and easy to install. Instant performance increase

I have an All in One computer that I bought some time back. I was considering replacing it, but after some research learned that I could increase the memory to 16 gb. Some more research, and I found the proper memory for the machine in question. Removed some screw to open the case, and the memory mounts were readily accessible. About a minute and the old memory was out, the matched sticks in -- and away I went! Speed increased with the memory upgrade -- and saved a bunch over replacing the computer! Great buy. Easy to install! Effective!

What can you say about a memory upgrade? It works as advertised. The salesman was efficient at finding what I needed and I had it installed on the spot by the Geek Squad. System performance is noticeably faster on apps that take lots of memory. I certainly recommend that anyone contemplating an upgrade in OS to Windows 10 upgrade to at leaser 16 GB of memory.

I wanted to upgrade a two year old touch screen ASUS to use for photo editing. I had it stripped down to default and then upgraded with Windows 10. As it had 8 gb of memory (4gb x 2 chips) I wanted to upgrade it to 16 gb so there would be no lag. I researched via the application chart at BestBuy and bought a two pack of PNY 8gb memory chips. I found a youtube video on the replacement process, and had the new chips in the machine in about 10 minutes. No problems during this process, and now it runs very fast. I have heard that upgrading RAM can sometimes cause compatibility issues with programs already installed on the laptop. So I made sure to upgrade the RAM on a stripped machine, before I started installing Photoshop and other programs.

Updated my Panasonic CF53 from 4gbyte to 16gbyte. Made it work slightly faster. Knowing that, probably could have gotten by with 8 gig.Price was right as it was half of original price.

I was told The local Apple Store here in Knoxville had the 1600 MHz memory in stock, but when I went in they went in circles. Basically, they didn't;t know corporate Apple has a help section on replacing memory for some older models. The store offered a 1867 MHz to me claiming it was better what corporate Apple recommended. I called corporate Apple and asked abut the memory I was overcharged for, and they said absolutely NO. An apple employee sent me to Best Buy and they had 16 Gigs of the 1600 MHz in stock at half the price. I installed it and have had no problems.

The Price is just amazing below all other similar size ram! and if you read reviews or watch some videos on YouTube you will know a RAM is a RAM you can't go wrong with it. Work great for the last few months on my Dell Inspiron N5110 ( yeah i know it should be limited to 8GB on this laptop but it's really not ;) ) Plus buying from BestBuy is so convenient since they gave you 15 Days return policy with no restocking fee (I would never buy from these guys) anyway so if it didn't work correct with you (Unlikely to happen) for incompatibility you can return it for full refund.

I bought a $200 refurbished Dell laptop for my 10 yr old daughter as her only Christmas present last year. It worked fine for surfing the Internet and the basic applications a 10 year old would use. I returned to college this fall and have been using her laptop to submit homework as mine had died a few years ago. I suddenly became very frustrated with how slow it took to do anything. It came with 4Gb of RAM and after I upgraded to the two 8gb cards, I noticed a considerable difference in improved performance! I previously worked with AutoCAD in my career field and had a $3300 company laptop to design parts with. I realized very quickly how spoiled I had become when it took my daughter's laptop almost 90 minutes to install Microsoft Office 365 (before increasing RAM)! Before installing the new RAM, the task manager would show the amount of memory used at 99%. After installing the new RAM, the memory in use is usually around 20-40% and the processor now gets shown at 99% when I'm doing more than a few things at once. I noticed improvements in how fast programs opened up and were actually ready to use instead of waiting for the program to finish loading before your able to click on anything. The improvement in RAM was considerably noticeable, but since the processor was also slower, it wasn't the amount of improvement I was hoping for. (I did convince the Mrs to let me buy a new laptop for school as a result... Hello INTEL XEON!) Depending on the specs of your current RAM and processor, you may have better results than I did after upgrading your RAM. I am happy with my purchase. For the price, I figured it was worth the investment. Even if it wasn't the performance improvement I was looking for, I knew it was an improvement my daughter could benefit from. Overall, in my personal opinion, I believe the RAM was priced reasonably and it did improve the performance of my laptop. Based on my previous work computer, I had unrealistic expectations on how much improved performance I was going receive. My daughter's $200 refurbished laptop isn't going to perform the same as a laptop designed to run AutoCAD. I would recommend these, but I am very impatient. If you can wait to have them delivered, they are priced differently on other retailer websites. I couldn't wait and bought mine in store. Assuming you are increasing your RAM by at least 4Gb, you should be able to see a difference in your computer performance.

We were looking to upgrade the Samsung RC512 i7 laptop from the standard 6GB to 16GB. Samsung and all the online memory sites stated the max memory for the system was 8GB. I could not find any technical reason why any generation i7 could not address 16GB or DDR3 with a 64bit Windows 10 running on the laptop. I can only figure that at the time the laptop was sold, 8GB modules were not readily available and no one went back to update the specs. We upgraded the RAM while in the parking lot of Best Buy and saw the system successfully POST and boot into Windows 10 recognizing all 16GB. Back home we ran a full memory test and have not seen any problems for weeks now. This was an excellent upgrade to get more life out of a still useful quad core i7 laptop. Best Buy made this upgrade purchase easier, since we could test out if it would work and had the option to return it right then.

Use CPU-Z to check the specs on your memory before buying anything! People come on here all the time, giving 1 star reviews because of their own idiocy. As a tip, always check FREQUENCY (MHz) TYPE (DDR2/DDR3/DDR4) and especially for laptops - VOLTAGE. For me it was pretty tough to find a set of PC3-12800's in 1.35V, but these were an excellent price ($60 for 16GB)!!

This ram installed easy, made the laptop faster. Pair 16 GBs with a Samsung 850 EVO Solid State for under 5 second boot times.
