Q: Can I use it with an Android cell phone?

A: Cell phones do not connect directly to a standard size USB, there are adapters and mini USB devices that can be used.

Q: How many photos will it hold

A: I'm not sure of the maximum amount of pictures it will hold, however, I have a folder just for pictures and in this folder I have 1,312 pictures and that is only taking up a little over 300 MB. (Overall in TOTAL I have 8,193 files (Doc., PDF., Excel, Powerpoint, Pictures, etc.) and it has only taken up 6.17 GB, which I'm still left with 8.31 GB (the capacity in total is 14.5 GB)). Sorry I don't have a specific answer, but I hope this helps!

Q: Why won't my 12.7G file copy onto this when capacity is supposed to be 16G? Error msg says it is too large for the volume format.

A: The flash drives come preformatted with the FAT32 file system which has a 4GB file size limit. For larger file transfers you can format the flash drive to exFAT.

Q: what is the difference between .02 and .03?

A: 3.0 is faster (newer) and 2.0 is slower (older) Check the color of your USB port on the computer you plan on using. Typically a blue port indicates it is a 3.0 port.

Q: Why doesn't this show up on my desktop when I plug it in? I'm using a macbook pro laptop. Does this only work on PC's?

A: Yes, if you want to read it on a MacBook you need to instal the Tuxera app

Q: I probably have 20-30 USB drives in my desk and for the life of me, I can't figure out how to open (i.e. remove) the plastic cover) on this device? Thanks Bob

A: Hold the non-cover end in one hand between your thumb and forefinger. Take your other hand and slide the plastic cover down along the length of the memory stick (toward your other hand). The cover doesn't come off, it just slides down.

Q: Can these be used for roku TV for the pause live TV feature?

A: I have a ROKU TV. Although I have not used the PNY brand with the tv but instead another brand, any USB 2.0 memory stick (flash drive) should work.

Q: Is this a viable option for use with a ROKU tv to use the live TV rewind feature?

A: Yes, my dad used one for his roku TV and it works just fine.
