I had bought almost the same exact item from Frys Electronics and my computer will not recognize it. But when I bought the item at Best Buy the computer will open it and recognize it. I will keep on getting good items at Best Buy and not at Frys Electronics because it is no good. DO NOT GO TO FRYS ELECTRONICS BECAUSE THE ITEMS ARE NO GOOD. IT IS MOSTLY USED AND OPEN BOX ITEMS THAT DOESN'T WORK.

Used this for sending to a audio expert who was digitizing some old precious cassette tapes of Grandpa in Vietnam in the 60’s, sending audio letters to the family back home in the US. The audio restorer uploaded them to this thumb drive and mailed it to me, and I shared it with a few family members via mail so they could upload to whatever device they wanted for saving. Has held up fine and works fast, no errors or problems like with many cheap thumb drives. Plenty of space for tons of material. Happy I bought this brand, worth every dollar.

I caught this on sale at best buy along with some other deals of the day flash drive. Got a good price on it and have used this solely as a flash drive backup. I copied over 60 gb to it. The transfer speeds were prertty good but i would suggest formatting the drive to suit your needs. It came FAT32 but I changed it to NTFS

Bought this for extra storage for a notebook. Good download/upload speed for a very reasonable price

This flash drive was purchased a few weeks ago. I quickly loaded it up with a bunch of old pictures and videos. I achieved sustained transfers above 100mb/s which was exactly what I hoped for. It didn't come with any bloat ware preloaded which was a plus. The capacity was obviously a bit less than 128gb because of the formatting but that was to be expected. Overall for the price bestbuy had it on sale for it was well worth it.

Fast drive, huge capacity, great price. USB 3.0 will be outdated soon though.

I recently purchased this USB flash drive so that we could consolidate photos and videos from different cameras and phones. It has plenty of storage capacity to handle both photos and videos. Performance seems good -- pretty fast compared to older USB drives I've used. A good value overall.

I have a lot of music/movies in this USB and I have used it for a really long time, it is fast in transferring and I got it for a great price. The 128 GB was much needed as I found myself buying a lot of 16 GB and not knowing what I had on each one.

I like the design and size of the USB drive. works very well in a USB Hub on my desk. I also like the little red light that lets you known that it is working when receiving and transferring data. I would buy this again.

The flash drive it an awesome product! Its fast and portable, but lets say if you are trying to transfer a video of 10GB, it won't transfer because the file is too big. Regardless of that I use it everyday and LOVE it!

According to the description on the box, you're supposed to be able to transfer files at speeds up to 185 Mbps, but the fastest I ever saw was 125 Mbps. That's still fast, but not nearly as fast as advertised. I have no idea how much slower the non-elite USB 3.0 version of this drive is, but if it's not faster than this one, I wasted my money. Honestly, I'm pretty confused why I'm not getting way faster transfer speeds in the first place because USB 3.0 is supposed to be 10 times faster than 2.0, which reportedly offers transfer rates of 480 Mbps (60 MBps). So why doesn't my flash drive transfer data at 4,800 Mbps (600 MBps or 4.8 Gbps)? In other words, I should be able to transfer a 4.8 GB file in about 8 seconds, but that's definitely not the case. Is there something about flash media that is inherently slow and prevents the transfer speeds claimed by USB 3.0? Forgetting all that, the actual transfer speeds will vary GREATLY depending on what you're transferring. Large files (1 GB or more) will transfer at up to 125 MBps, while a series of smaller files will often transfer at less than 1 MBps. In other words, your mileage will vary.

I wanted to backup most of my important files to my flash drive and be able to take them with me when I travel. The drive is easy to use and is fast in transferring the data. Highly recommend this drive.
