This grip turns the Mission 1 Pro into something that handles a lot like a real point and shoot, which is exactly what I wanted out of that 50MP sensor. The form factor makes a real difference for stills. It’s comfortable to hold and shoot with compared to using the camera bare or on a typical action cam mount. I ended up returning this along with the camera, but that’s on the Mission 1 Pro, not the grip. The infinite focus issue that made me send back the camera obviously carries over no matter what mount you’re using it on. If you’re keeping your Mission 1 Pro and want a grip that actually makes it feel like a stills camera, this is the one I’d point you to. I didn’t find another option that came close.

This is a great accessory because it makes the cam so much easier to use for taking stills. It has a lanyard for the wrist and holds the cam perfectly. Very comfortable and easy to remove. If you pay for the M1 - mighta as well get the most out of it - this helps with that. I even gave my cam to some strangers when traveling and asked them to take my pic and it worked out great. No confusion.

It looks so amazing and it works great. Best Buy was 1 full week behind the promised date, so I missed using it on my job.

I picked it up for my Mission 1 and planned on putting it on the ILS. I am an event photographer and bring out my GoPros on a couple events. Problem with this is the locking mechanism from the handle to the case does not work. The results are the camera can come apart sending your camera to the ground. I returned it for another with the same issue, so I just refunded and moved on. Would not vouch for this until they get a fix on that locking setup.

We highly recommend if you want the camera look. We use it all the time!
