This grip turns the Mission 1 Pro into something that handles a lot like a real point and shoot, which is exactly what I wanted out of that 50MP sensor. The form factor makes a real difference for stills. It’s comfortable to hold and shoot with compared to using the camera bare or on a typical action cam mount. I ended up returning this along with the camera, but that’s on the Mission 1 Pro, not the grip. The infinite focus issue that made me send back the camera obviously carries over no matter what mount you’re using it on. If you’re keeping your Mission 1 Pro and want a grip that actually makes it feel like a stills camera, this is the one I’d point you to. I didn’t find another option that came close.
