The red version is a great game. It is simple and retro.

This is one of the pokemon games I grew up with, and plays as such, missing the quality of life improvements like the physical special splits but does have some difficulty at the start if you pick Charmander, some difficulty mid game with Squirtle, and some difficulty late if you pick Bulbasaur

It's the same game from 2004 with some filter updates for Player names. They updated it to include event exclusive items once you beat the Elite 4 to encounter special pokemon. It made me respect what the older Pokemon games had and worked with and what they turned into with new titles.

A STEAL for Pokémon lovers! I brought for my wife and she hasn’t put it down since. Same as the game boy advance game but obviously with better graphics. Same story. Same characters and same Pokémon. Perfect for a dose of nostalgia!

Great classic brought to Switch. It runs smoothly and keeps the original feel while being easy to pick up and play on modern hardware. Perfect for nostalgia or if you’ve never played it before. For the price, it’s a solid pickup.

I got this for my fiancé for her birthday. She only started playing pokemon back when sword and shield came out. Those games are a much easier experience. This one challenges her on another level! She’s really enjoying it too!

They don’t make Pokemon games like this anymore. Some game mechanics didn’t make it to the newer games like Pokemon losing HP when they are poisoned. Little things like that, make the game a bit more difficult but fun.
