Customer Ratings & Reviews

Ascended Heroes? Oh man, this set’s the glow-up we didn’t know we needed—it’s like Mega Evolution got supercharged with 2026 flair. Dropped January thirtieth, over two-ninety cards, secret rares everywhere… it’s massive. The artwork? Chef’s kiss. That cover art alone—Charizard, Pikachu, Mewtwo all ascending in neon swirls—feels like a rave in the sky. And then Mega Dragonite ex hits. Three-seventy HP, golden foil wings like it’s flying through a sunrise. Sky Transport swaps your Active spot mid-turn—game-changer. Ryuno Glide drops three-thirty after ditching two Energy. Weakness to Fairy stings, but who cares? This thing’s meta poison. Special Illustration Rare version’s basically art on steroids—shimmering, heroic, worth chasing hard. Prices already north of two-fifty ungraded; collectors are feral. Mega Rayquaza ex isn’t slacking either—spiraling dragon energy, Dragon Burst scales with discards. The SIR? Pure cosmic fire. Even the trainers pop—Iris’s Fighting Spirit draws like crazy, Surfer floods your bench. Pull rates are kinder than last set, but those god packs? Lottery vibes. Gameplay’s fresh: Mega rules simplified, no turn-end nonsense—just explosive attacks and bench swaps. Competitive? Solid in Dragon/Flying decks. Collecting? Addictive. Nine out of ten—best Mega revival since XY. If Mega Evolution was gold, Ascended Heroes is platinum.

You can never go wrong with an ETB. These ones look amazing too and I love the colors. Comes with cool sleeves and dice. Opened every pack and loved all the cards I got.

Very fun set to open! Glad that best buy can offer people a chance to buy at MSRP. Pokemon did a great job with their SIRs and IRS.

"I recently pulled the [Insert Card Name, e.g., Special Illustration Rare Gardevoir EX] and I am blown away. The artwork is vibrant, detailed, and truly captures the Pokémon’s personality in a way standard cards don’t. The texture on the card is premium, and it looks incredible in a top-loader. If you are collecting for aesthetics or just love the Pokémon featured, this is a top-tier addition to any binder."

Ascended Heroes may be the best set we have yet. People that say vintage is better are nuts. There isn't even a comparison there. I like other vintage things like advertising signs, video games , and VHS but the Pikachu in the forest smokes base set Charizard. Sorry.

pretty good but rates for an etb, not to mention being able to get something at msrp and not slightly above or anything like that. overall a great deal

Love the colors in this ETB and the promo card is super cool. The packs had horrible pull rates but I was still able to get an Erika’s Tangela out of the 9 packs it comes with!!

Best Buy Always has the best prices on Pokemon cards! Absolutely my first choice to purchase for MSRP! I got a gengar and a dragonite ex so I’m extremely happy!

Nothing beats buying Pokemon for MSRP! Ascended heroes hit rates are terrible but I did pull the Metagross SIR.

Product was very hard to find but thanks to best buy I was able to get 1. Best product Pokemon has released in awhile! Thanks again!!!

The Ascended Heroes set is a fantastic special set with great cards. 9 packs is enough to get your collection started.

Great set! I was pleased with the cards inside and how beautiful the cards looked. Highly recommended for all ages.

Super easy to get in and out without the crazy fights over product. Really enjoyed how Best Buy did the releases for Pokemon.

Can't go wrong with some ascended heros. Bestbuy always has the best prices!

Very cool set with a bunch of cool arts. I pulled a sir in the first box I ripped with my friend awesome experience.
