If you enjoy animal crossing style game with a little Minecraft but with pokemon. the problem with a lot of pokemon games is you beat the game then only thing really left to do is shiny hunt. this game I've put over 200 hours and still so much to do and i love the fact that you can create your own world and still have so much to do. I also love that my 4 year old daughter can play this game and not be afraid of something attacking her and killing her and she enjoys finding new pokemon and learning new abilities. 10/10 would recommend!

Pokopia literally the best game to come out in ages. I've had it for 14 days and already have 110+ hours. It's the perfect mix of Minecraft, Animal Crossing, Pokémon, and more. Feels like they really made this game with love and care. The personalities of the Pokémon are incredible and hilarious. Also I ordered from Best Buy on March 9. It was estimated to arrive on March 12. It came miraculously on March 10th. Thank you to whatever Best Buy gods made this happen.

Pokopia takes the very best of Dragon Quest Builders and mixes in Viva Piñata, Animal Crossing, and Minecraft to create one of the best Pokémon games. As a longtime fan of the Pokémon series as well as the social simulation and sandbox building genres, it hits all the right notes. Rebuilding the devastated Kanto region block by block, uncovering the mystery of humanity's disappearance through data logs, and meeting and guiding the incredibly colorful, funny cast of Pokémon to a new home in the wasteland is a journey absolutely stuffed with joy, melancholy, and wonder that left me overwhelmed in the best way possible. I could not put the game down for hours at a time because there's always something new to do, someone new to talk to, or someplace new to explore. And the story's beautiful ending is clearly just the beginning: I can easily spend dozens more hours completing the Pokédex and hundreds more either recreating the cities I know from the mainline games or creating entirely new, massive marvels of civilization with the astounding breadth of blocks, decorations, and utilities at my disposal. This is an extremely easy recommendation to anyone and everyone with a Switch 2!

I bought Pokémon Pokopia as a gift for my husband, and it has been such a win, he’s been playing nonstop. If you love Pokémon, this game feels like pure comfort with a clever twist. The best way I can describe it is a genius cross between Animal Crossing and Minecraft, you get that relaxing, cozy world-building vibe, plus the fun of collecting, exploring, and interacting in a way that keeps pulling you back in. It’s easy to pick up, satisfying to sink time into, and it has that “just one more thing” energy every time you play. He’s a big Pokémon fan, and this absolutely delivered. Charming, creative, and genuinely relaxing. Highly recommend, especially as a gift for anyone who loves Pokémon and cozy games.

100/10 experience. If you like minecraft, if you liked animal crossing, if you liked dragon quest builders, if you liked stardew valley.... this game will scratch every single one of those itches. And if you love pokemon, you will be sobbing in no time. Like literal tears 5 minutes in. A true masterpiece that came out of nowhere and no one was expecting. I think it is my game of the year and that is should be the game of the year period. The Best Buy at Best Buy. Also! I got an adorable tote bag as a preorder bonus which was the absolute best preoder bonus for this game from any store. Thank you Best Buy!

Greatest game I've played in ages. If you're a cozy game lover that loves to decorate and have creative freedom, this game is for you! Especially if you are a Pokémon lover. This game has made me appreciate and like Pokémon that I previously have never been a fan of such as Conkeldurr. Every Pokémon has their own personality, & phrases, which is crazy to think about considering there are over 300 Pokémon in the game (And counting!). I preordered a copy through BestBuy and it was available for pickup on release day. The entire process was smooth and they gave me my game right on time. I will definitely pre order games here again, especially since BestBuy's preorder bonuses have been solid. (it was a Pokopia themed canvas tote bag for the preorder this time)

What a game. It’s absolutely wonderful in nearly every way, and they gave so much love to every single pokemon (over 300!) that you encounter. It’s the most cozy game I have played. Over the course of this game I’ve laughed, cried, and forsaken a lot of real life just to play this masterpiece. I have 200 hours already in just the first month. It makes creating so accessible and addictive. I was very skeptical that this would be a good game, and was blown away. It’s worth every penny, and I can’t wait to log in and play for a couple minutes every day.

Very cute, relaxing and enjoyable game. The pokemon are all adorable and your ditto character is very lovable to play as. You can enjoy this game at your own pace. It feels rewarding rebuilding the deserted towns, completing challenges and unlocking new pokemon, their habitats, and crafting/cooking recipes. Would definitely recommend to pokemon fans that are looking for a new gaming experience that differs from the usual pokemon gameplay style.

Fun game to play. You can play at your pace and build so many things for your pokemon. It does get a little overwhelming because there's just so much.

This game is absolutely amazing. It's kept me thoroughly engrossed. There's a really high number of Pokémon, the various methods for meeting them are super fun, the building mechanics and variety of materials, furniture, toys etc is amazing. Absolutely recommend this game to all life sim, minecraft, and Pokémon fans. This is really my first life sim since probably harvest moon on gameboy as a kid, but I am loving it.

easily a 10/10 kind of game, blending cozy life-sim mechanics with classic Pokémon charm in a really addictive way. The world-building and relaxed gameplay loop make it hard to put down, and while it has a few small issues like repetitive tasks, they barely take away from the overall experience.

I love this game! It’s so much fun and the fact that it’s full of pokemon I can’t get enough. It can be very addictive so play at your own risk but overall it’s a really fun game!

The game is so much more than a Pokémon meets Animal Cross. While that is what I was expecting I’ve grown to appreciate the much larger world and the neat way of summoning Pokémon to your Island!

Great game! Very fun new way to play Pokemon. No battling, but it's a mix of many other games such as mine craft, animal crossing, or other life sim/exploration games

I loved Dragonquest Builders 2, and that same company made this game as well. I love the creativity and all the endless things you can do. Its my favorite thing to do before bed. Its so cozy, easy, relaxing and a feel good game. If you need to chill do yourself a favor and get this game.
