Great game so far. A little of the old and new altogether.

I received my download codes 2 hrs before the midnight release so it wasnt too bad. The games themselves were good. The introductory phase of yhe game was about 2 hrs, then it allows you to go into open world which is great, however, the gyms dont level to your team so be wary about leveling up too much. The end game was fantastic and new, so the future is great. There are also some QOL fixes thankfully cuz there were a few glitches. Game was still playable and fun!

The game itself is good-ish, but the performance is so bad it makes it hard to enjoy. Frame rates constantly dip below 20 FPS and it’s absolutely not the hardware limitations of the Ninendo Switch alone to blame. There are other/older games out there, including similar Pokemon games that run much better. This is a lack of respect for the customer and its very frustratinc to see. Hopefully they patch it and improve the performance but I doubt it.

The game was unfortunately never patched to the point of passing performance, hard to recommend.

Best game I played. Some glitches but it’s fun either way.

These games are very fun to play. I enjoyed the story line of it and the fact that buying it from Best Buy made it quick and easy.

The open world is a big change for Pokemon, I wasn't sure if I'd enjoy playing that way but it is fun to explore the world freely instead of the guided paths of the older games, you can play most of the gym leaders in any order you choose, though there is a guide to which leaders to battle when. You have more of a choice in this game than you had previously to battle trainers along the way (you need to interact with them to start a battle instead of just walking by) which is a good and bad thing, being forced to battle when your team may be weak wasn't always fun but now you can simply choose to not battle anyone except the gym leaders and the few other characters the game makes you battle, not getting into battles along the way can cause some trouble later, when you team isn't as strong as they should at a certain time in the game, a mistake I obviously made. There are also some "side quests" your character has to complete along with the normal gyms, including finding and defeating powerful Titan Pokemon and Team Star along the way. As someone who has played since the original blue and red GameBoy games, it's always fun to see what new direction they take the game.

Every past dual digital game came with two codes so that you could download the game on two different accounts. This one came with one code and both started to download on one switch. I don't know why on earth anyone that is just a casual player would need two copies of the same game that boasts multiplayer..... its not like you cam play both games at the same time. Customer service has been 0 help and now im stuck with two of the same game instead of being able to play with my heartbroken nephew that I promised the other code to.

Awesome game. My kids love it as well. Must buy game!!!

I like the game play, but that is overridden by the lost frames, the lagging, glitching, and freezing. When Nintendo starts giving out refunds, you know that they goofed up big time.

The game is fund and enjoyable, however the game runs terribly on the switch. The game has crashed multiple times, gets really laggy, noticiable bugs within the game. When the game works it is enjoyable.
