I bought a pair of these a while ago and have given a thorough testing over the past year or so. I am using these in a 2.1 setup along with a beautiful sounding pair of Polk S60 towers. I use these for music only. The sound is excellent. Low end response is above and beyond expectations. To the point of sometimes needing to lower the subwoofer levels on the receiver. I like them a lot. My only concern with these is when the power reaches a certain threshold, they give an audible pop. They really in my opinion will not take much abuse. Home theater application would certainly bring these symptoms to light. For all types of musical use, I am very happy with them.

No complaints from this guy. Bass is super clean. Great value. Looks awesome. Paired with the Polk SE towers. Really nice setup.

I had a great 100W Sony Subwoofer. It lasted for seven year. I had to find something similar. I made a lot of research, listened to lot of subwoofers and eventually bought a 100W Klipsch subwoofer. I immediately had to return it for poor performance. I decided on the Polk 200W subwoofer. It is a great subwoofer and has a good range of low to high sounds I wonder why I didn’t go with it since my front and center speakers are Polk’s.

Really impressed with this sub. It has more than enough power to fill my theater room. Sound is crisp and clean.

I needed to upgrade my ancient Velodyne subwoofer. I researched and narrowed it down to this Polk Audio and the Klipsch SPL-120. Both are 12 inch subs that pack a punch. For half the price of the Klipsch, and better looks... I pulled the trigger on the Polk Audio. No regrets. Big, clear bass for my open space living room. It was a nice xmas gift to myself!

This unit is nestled in the corner of a common area of my home. It provides subtlety, but has the punch necessary to provide a true home theater experience in a large space. Build quality appears top shelf. It is a solid piece that seems built to last. I feel that value was received for the money spent. I am pleased.

Polk provides great audio speakers. The Polk 12" 200 watt subwoofer provides deep base and fantastic sound at a reasonable price. The Best Buy experience was easy and shipping was fast.

This syb is amazing but I am a basshead so I want to upgrade to something much much bigger now.

So, this subwoofer is excellent. Definitely has the sound of a closed box. Very powerful, cinematic sound. Matches the timbre of the other signature series speakers perfectly. A must-buy if you have the S55s and an S35 center!

I replaced an Infinity BU-2 that just sounded too 'boomy' and I could never get it to sound right. I have an Onkyo TX-RZ830 with a separate Parasound amp. My front speakers are not great but I did hear a difference after playing with the receiver settings. I'm limited on placement options. I have never heard a really good system so I'm not sure how it should sound; the sub still sounds a little boomy. It's built like a tank and I would buy it again.

I've already had a polk audio 12" sub woofer for 25 years. This one blew the other one right out of the water. Night and day difference between them.

Purchased this Sub in February and was delivered a day before as promised. It’s much bigger than I expected. Hooked it up, played music played some music and was blown away with the tightness of the 12 inch sub. Very pleased with it so far. I haven’t had the time to place 4K movies and check the surround sound yet. That’s why I only gave it four stars. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

Great compliment to the Polk home theatre system giving the bass I needed.

Wow! this sub-woofer will make you feel like you’re in a theater. A bit expensive but well worth it.
