Perfect addition for a budget Dolby Atmos setup
The Polk XT90 is the perfect speaker to add to your new or existing home theater setup in order to step up to a room enveloping Dolby Atmos configuration. I have been rocking Polk home theater speaker setups for 16 years now. After pulling the trigger on a pair of XT90's to finalize my 5.2.2 surround setup, I've been amazed at how the sound places you in a bubble where the audio literally seems to come from all over, not just around. The best part is the speaker is a perfect fit on top of the XT60 tower speakers, as shown in my photo. I mostly play games where I have this setup configured, but I believe games add even more immersion than movies, due to always have audio cues playing all around the player. Hearing war planes and helicopters move overhead is surreal. Special effects in sci-fi and fantasy games are so immersive now! Obviously these are entry level, but I've always been happy with Polk's standard speaker line up the entire time I've used them. I've tried more expensive speakers from a competitor in the past, but returned them, as I prefer the sound from Polk's audio gear. Polk's subwoofer department has largely been lacking over the years, but it looks like they may have something worth investigating with the recent Signature Elite subwoofer line. I would love to get the chance to test one and compare it against one of my SVS subs.

Great sound for atmos and great all around price. Looks great and fits my floor standing speakers fine.
