Great sound

very good overall
easy to install, great sound, good price. I would definitely recommend. The only issue comes with the cloth film that is attached to the speaker grille. If you want to paint the grille you need to remove this film (as per Polk) but it is very difficult to do so without damaging the film and then to remount it after painting is also a pain. the worst part is that you cannot reinstall it with the same tautness as before due to how it is originally mounted. The rear surround Polk's I got solved this beautifully and were much easier to paint

Good speaker but don't expect TSI series sound.
Let me start by saying I've returned my in wall speaker set already but it's not because the quality was bad. The cost to wall install 7 speakers was too expensive and I'm not an experienced dry cutter to do it myself. When I connected the speakers to my Denon IC 3500 AV they sound as good as my Polk Monitor 40, but not as good as my Polk TSI 200 bookshelf speakers. The plastic is a bit cheap, a piece was already chipped when I opened the box. For the price I expected Polk TSI and not Polk Monitor quality so they sound a bit flat but bass heavy. I guess this is good if you like certain kinds of music, and it's good for movies but you can hear the difference in sound when compared to the TSI 200. I will buy again, but I will have to pay for pre wire over the next five months before I buy again as my estimate came up to $1700.
