A: I have the same issue and have replaced the headset 3 times with the same result unfortunately. The latest and greatest looks like the most expensive and poorest quality as well. This headset has constant breakup when on a call and the call quality is very bad. Time to look for a different solution after years of using plantronics, it seems that someone dropped the ball on the 5200 UC headset.
Q: Unbelievable, there's an accesory for the accesory? How do you charge the Bluetooth?
A: Great question and this is one of the 5220's biggest improvements I think over the Voyager Legend which required a proprietary charger. It charges with any Micro USB charger!
Q: What are the differences between this model and the previous Legend?
A: The Voyager 5200 series includes NFC pairing and an additional microphone for improved noise cancellation and wind reduction compared to the Voyager Legend.
Q: Does the case shown in the string of photos below the ear piece come with it?
A: I called their customer service to ask the same question. When I heard "no" I told them their pictures are deceiving. They also should have an answer for "What is in the box". FYI for the 203500-01(Standard) the items in the box are: Headset, Get Started Guide, Safety booklet, Warranty insert, Small, medium, and large ear tips, USB to micro USB charge cable
Q: It is advertised as having 7 hours talk time but I can only get 6 hours maximum, Is it defective?
A: I drive oil trucks 12 hours a day and it never dies and I'm on and off the phone all day long, try only having the bluetooth setting on your phone set to call and not media, unless you need to hear every single sound your phone makes, if that doesn't work it might be
Q: What is the difference between the Voyager 5200 and the Voyager 5220?
A: Both are the same headsets. Only difference is - 5200 comes with a wall charger and 5220 comes with a car charger.
A: The volume range would be the same as our other bluetooth headsets. It should easy to hear at the mid point, and loud at the highest level.
