Much improved design over the previous APower dual charger (see pics). Of course this is very subjective, but I do like the looks of the newer design vs the old one. It’s solidly built and has a slightly heavier feel to it. The controllers dock much easier than the previous design. Not the it was that hard or too tricky, but I would often have to jiggle the controller to make sure it was making a connection with the metal charging points. This new design, the controller fits in much more naturally. Other the the improved docking design, everything else is just cosmetic. The new charging dock uses the exact same lithium battery design and well as the same AC adapter plug. A little plus is that there isn’t any high gloss plastic, which always just ends up attracting fingerprints and fine scratches. aPower is asking an additional $5 MSRP over the previous design for the changes, which is more than justified in my view. If I was going to be critical of anything, it would be the LED lights. When it’s charging it’s and orange/amber color which looks great, but when it’s done charging the LEDs turn a brighter white, which is a little too bright in a darkened room. The white LED color should be a lot dimmer. I’m okay with it, but I can definitely see some players get a little annoyed with it.

The sole reason I got this was because I only had one rechargeable battery for about 4-5 years and now that battery has served its purpose it is time to move on. As you can see I have two different model Xbox controllers a older and newer version. Now with this I can have two rechargeable batteries and not need two stinking cables to charge. For those of you who know the newer controller uses usb-c, while the older version uses a micro usb. I get to put away both of those cables and just use the charging station killing two birds with one stone, if you have two controllers and are looking for a product that brings two rechargeable batteries and a charging dock that can charge both, THIS IS THAT FREAKING PRODUCT!!!!! One half of the light is for one controller and the other half is for the other controller! I hope this review is helpful and thorough enough to consider a buy!

Works great !! Just set the remotes on it and it charges really fast, I’m super satisfied on how easy and great this turned out! It came with everything you need.

It’s perfect saves me money on double AA batteries. The batteries do have a decent amount to last for a good time though I wish they had the push down technique as the previous model to hide the light. The light gets annoying at night other than that worth the purchase.

It is a very useful product, I have been using it for a few months and it has never failed, the charging time is fast and it tells you when it is fully charged, it charges both controllers at the same time and does not take up much space

I love the new designs it has improved since, plus it supports both controllers from One and X/S and face same direction. There child friendly to make sure they actually put on charge properly. I bought shelf just for controllers and double side tape them to prevent moving.

I got this charging port because I got tired of using a cable charger while I wasn’t playing Xbox, and it’s super compact and out of the way so when I’m away, the remotes can charge with ease. I love the function of the lights letting you know when it’s charging (orange), and when it’s fully charged(white). It also came with battery covers that have an opening so the battery and charging station can connect. Just have to be careful and accurate to connect them, but it’ll click to let you know and then the LED light will come on. Easy to use, simple to set up, and good for its price! No more rechargeable double A’s !

Wish I would have bought this sooner. The charging station works good and it's great not having to worry about dead batteries anymore. Item arrived quickly and well packaged.

The only thing that I don’t like about Xbox is how you have to get batteries every couple of days for your controller. Now the problem is solved the batteries last a pretty long time and as long as you remember to put it back on the charger, you will never have to deal with a dead controller again to wrap it up if you think you don’t wanna buy it because you can’t afford it just think about how much batteries cost and then think about how much this cost. This is a lot cheaper in the long run.

I was looking for something to hold 2 controllers and charge without taking too much space. This item works great and would highly recommend.

First buy lasted 3 whole years, and only one charging pack is having difficulty with connection. I’m constantly going through remotes, but this dock is among the best available // Read carefully; there are two covers(doors) for Series 1 and two for Series x|s.

So far it seems to work as advertised. Never had an xbox before and as this is for xbox x/s and one it might be better if they marked the backings more clearly. Not that its hard to figure out. White light for charged. Red for charging.

I got this Xbox controller charger to charge my controllers, and it went above and beyond my expectations. Giving me rechargeable batteries to put in my controllers, and making sure I could charge both of them at once!

Good item keep me ready for quick use .easy to use not too big and have elegant desing
