Combining a new bold look with the innovation that the 3XL series is known for, PowerBass created our most accomplished High Output Subwoofer to date. The 3XL series have beed designed to withstand the extreme heat that the new generation Class D Amplifiers create. Class D Amplifiers heat up the woofers voice coil two to three times hotter and faster than than a conventional class A/B amplifier. This calls for Xtreme measures and special parts to classify these as a true Class D Subwoofer. The 3XL 10" Subwoofers all feature 3" HD BASV voice coil formers high temperature voice coil winding to help dissipate heat. To allow full movement of the cone, we utilize an ultra high roll foam surround that increases the cone area for higher output along with linear cone stability throughout the subwoofers peak excursion. Our signature red double stitching makes an outstanding bond between the improved Santoprene surround and polypropylene woofer cone. Revolutionary SoloKon technology joins the cone to the vented back brace, creating a single integrated until that both cools the motor and eliminates distortion. To make our subs even more reliable KICKER engineers developed Forced Air Cooling to help our subs run 25% cooler than before.

Updates to the new generation include larger, double-stacked magnets, an integrated Faraday ring, and a Kevlar-treated cone. All of these updates equal unmatched durability and reliable performance, even at high volumes. The R2-W10D4 handles up to 750 watts RMS, so it's ready for your high-powered amp. Its dual oversized 4-ohm voice coils offer wiring flexibility for multiple subwoofer setups. Since it works well in sealed or ported enclosures you'll enjoy your music the way you like to hear it.
