this game has a dark. heavy unsettling tone. the unnerving atmosphere of this game is so thick it can be cut with a knife. this game shines in delivering tone and atmosphere giving you a sense of inferiority and helplessness. you dont have to have seen the movie to enjoy or understand the game, more of the small things will make sense but not required. this is a game where you will need to take your time and use your mind. stay away from the alien, it will ALWAYS kill you. your job is to outsmart it enough to survive. in a day and age where games are all about killing something else its very refreshing to have the tables somewhat turned. in my opinion the three biggest flaws of this game are 1. it can get buggy at times (all games are buggy though) 2. frustrating because of VERY few checkpoints but thats the point so be prepared to replay alot of the same segments over. 3. this game does drag on more than it should, but the overall experience is still worth it because this is the only game where you will get the unique and chilling experience that is alien isolation. if you play on xbox one use the kinect if you have it is awesome and definitely PLAY THIS GAME WITH ALL THE LIGHTS OFF if you can and alone it really adds to the experience more than you know.

I think Alien Isolation does an outstanding job of what it sets out to do: provide an atmospheric interactive experience akin to the fantastic movie franchise from which it's spawned. The game is beautiful and tense and well worth playing.

Great gameplay. A lot of fun to play in the dark but remember that if your Kinect is on and you make a lot of noise....you may be visited by the Alien sooner than expected !

In space, no one can hear you scream. Not true. In fact, every noise you make attracts an android or xenomorph attempting to kill you. I'm not usually a stealth game fan, but the fear and desolation contained within this game challenges you to get through it as quietly as possible. Good luck!

I tried playing this game, but it freaked me out too much. This is a stealth game. No weapons. So, if you are looking for the ability to defend yourself, you have to rely on stealth and makeshift weapons.

I bought this game with the anticipation of reliving the fear from the original Alien game. Unfortunately, glitches rendered the game unplayable for more than a few minutes. The scenery and atmosphere was amazing, but character models were poorly rendered and when all of the walls and floors stopped loading for me, I was unable to play anymore.

for the price i paid for the game it seems pretty good, the graphics are really good and the game play seems long and not to much action yet.

This a well done game within the alien franchise that'll have you tense up and make you feel like you're in the universe.

Don't play this game alone. ha. excellent graphics and good storyline.

Great game love the aspect of survival horror and live the old movies

I bought this game because I was bored. I figured why not. Well, I made a poor choice. The game has decent cut shots with decent graphics, but the actual game play is something from the original x-box. The quality is poor and glitches. The so called eerily sounding music never stops and you become accustomed to it quickly, taking away any suspense that the Alien will jump out and get you. The game becomes quickly boring. Not worthy of the xbox one.

Can be suspenseful and alil scary. Got it cheap as a pre owned. Happily with purchase.

Absolutely loved this game. Like the first movie back in the day this game when played on hard mode is a great experience. You will really fear the Alien and feel the suspense if you play on the hardest difficulty. This was an extremely enjoyable game for me to play through, very challenging and I never wanted to put down the controller.

best Alien game I played and it scares me all the way

I grew up watching Aliens with Sigourney Weaver and this game did not disappoint. The sounds and just everything about it was perfect. Play this with headphone and I promise you will throw the controller more than once. I literately had to stop playing it scared me so bad.
