It was the best of times — the villages of Konohana and Bluebell were very friendly neighbors, one cultivating fresh produce from the fields and the other skillfully raising livestock. Now, it is the worst of times — a fierce dispute quickly led the villagers to endless bickering that eventually ignited the devastating collapse of an important tunnel. The two towns aren't living well with each other, but they'll soon find they can't live without each other, either. It's up to you to enter one of the towns, hone your green thumb and see if you can simmer this rural rivalry.
Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns asks you to begin a revolution across the land, by turning down the heat on the contention between Konohana and Bluebell and renewing the affection these villages once had for each other. Step into this thrilling, 3D world as a boy or a girl character, and establish yourself in one of the two towns. Explore Konohana's fields of crops or get your hands dirty in the animal-loving Bluebell. Make a home, build a thriving farm and compete in a variety of festivals as you settle into your new home. Grow crops, raise livestock, court a spouse and start a family — with the ultimate goal of bringing the two towns close again. Strengthen your cause by teaming up with friends in multiplayer co-op via local wireless, the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection or Street Pass, and tackle the challenge together. In this Tale, you must rise above and do a far, far better thing than you have ever done as you mend the fray between Two Towns.
