This movie was played so much, because my wife thoroughly enjoys it, that the VHS tape it was on was worn out. I was very happy ot find this on Best Buy website and was able to surprise her for her birthday.

I really enjoyed the book and the newer version of the movie and wanted to view this first one too. Since I am a fan of Greer Garson & L. Olivier, I really loved how this story line was done as well.

This 1940's version of pride and prejudice has you sitting on the edge of your seat wondering if Lizzy and Mr. Darcy will end up together just like the first time you read the book.
