I preordered this item before it was released and I'm glad I did! The controller feels the same as the black pro controller. The only differences are the green/pink grips and the splatoon design in the middle of the controller. The colors are very vibrant and are a good addition to my collection of neon controllers. When playing splatoon 2, I feel the pro controller definitely helps with a more comfortable grip and can play for a longer period of time. I've had no connectivity issues and the battery life is amazing; 40 hours! Anyone looking to buy a pro controller and wants a neon configuration will greatly enjoy this controller. If you don't need it though, the original pro controller will be just as good.

The first thing I noticed about the Switch Pro controller was the price. $75 was a far cry from the $30 spent for the Wii U Pro controller I only purchased a year ago. That said, I personally found the joycons a tad uncomfortable, so I knew that this would be a purchase I would inevitably make. Upon first holding this pad, I found it incredibly comfortable, but I would argue that most gamepads have the ergonomic aspect down. What sets this pad apart from others is the battery life, which has exceeded any other wireless pad that I've owned, aside from the Wii U Pro controller. All in all, it's an incredibly solid gamepad, but the price is quite a heavy burden to carry considering the prices of most other gamepads on the market, but seeing as this is more than likely the best option for a gamepad on the Nintendo Switch at the moment.

I know this item is pricey, but I cannot stand the small controllers that came with the Nintendo Switch, so I picked this controller up and it feels great and plays great as well! It's a plus if you're a Splatoon fan as the grips are colorful and the design on the controlled has Splatoon characters embedded as well.

Probably one of the most ocnfortale controllers I've ever used. Puts the old Wii U Pro Controller to shame with how comfortable it is. Everything is matte plastic so it won't smudge or get greasy. Has HD Rumble, Amiibo support, and gyroscope. The Splatoon pattern on the controller, along with the nice colors make it look so much better than the plain black model. Only downside is this one is more expansive than the plain black one.

In my opinion, the Pro Controllers are the best controllers Nintendo have ever made. They have an amazing sturdy feel in your hands and every button and stick feels perfectly placed. I’d put this up against a PS4 controller any day. That said, when they announced a Splatoon 2 themed Pro Controller it was a no brainer purchase. I adore Splatoon and I thought the neon colors were perfect. After 170(?) hours of Splatoon 2 playing, I’ve had no issues but the B button becoming a little sticky. From what I’ve read online this is easily fixable. If it ever fully broke I’d happily buy it again. I know it may seem pricey but remember you’re getting motion controls and the ability to scan Amiibos in this controller.

Such a comfortable controller, it feels like an Xbox One controller and its buttons run very smoothly as well. The pink and green design is absolutely the bread winner here though. Perfect for any Splatoon fan or Nintendo collectors.

The Nintendo switch pro controller is one of my favorite controllers out there ever. The Splatoon controller has so much detail, I absolutely love playing with it. Also the battery last 40 hours. I still havent charged it yet.

When I initially bought my Switch, I was determined to only play with the Joy Cons. However, I just loved the design of the controller, so I decided to try it out. This controller is so smooth and easy to hold, it blows all other controllers out of the water. Battery life is insane (and it's rechargeable - no AAs needed), and its so smooth during gaming, plus it retains the gyro controls (can be turned off within some game settings depending on the game). Overall, very happy with the purchase

Any Pro controller for the Switch is absolutely needed since trying to use the joycons in the dock they provide is awful and hurts your wrists. The price hurts the wallet, but is absolutely worth it.

When I bought the Nintendo Switch Splatoon Pro Controller I did so through gritted teeth. The cost compared to a PS4 or Xone controller is obviously higher. With that said, it is very well built, feels good in your hands, has a great battery life, etc. I still feel though, 60 bucks is what the MSRP should be.

This has splat markings everywhere in the clear plastic part, along with the classic Splatoon colors for the handles. Battery life is enormous.

This is the best controller to play Zelda Breath of the Wild and Splatoon 2 (of course). I love the fact that Nintendo isn't afraid to use some neon colors when they release their controllers on the Switch. The pro controller is so comfortable in your hand and it feels just right when playing games.

The splatoon 2 controller looks great! It has a lot of little details that are from game on it too!

This Splatoon edition Pro Controller is one of my favorites to use for games like Splatoon and Smash Bros. The design is really nice and is must have for Splatoon fans or controller collectors.

Works just like the original, but with cool neon colors on the grips. Also the Splatoon detailing on the gray shell is a nice touch as well. This is a fun looking controller, glad I purchased it!! Looking forward to new themed/designed controllers in the future from Nintendo!!!

My first impression seeing this controller online was that the colors would be gaudy, but I fell in love with it the moment I saw it in person! The little details on the grey part of the controller are so awesome. Would definitely recommend to any Splatoon fan.

The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller is an incredibly solid controller and one of my personal favorites. I honestly can't imagine playing games like Splatoon 2 without it. It's incredibly comfortable and has an amazing battery life. Definitely worth picking up!

I bought the pro controller for the switch early on and got this controller to add to what I've got. Both pro controllers are great and have a noticeably better resolution than the joycons. I like the design on this one more than the plain pro controller.
