Grounding adapter that converts a grounded NEMA 5‑15P 3‑prong plug to fit an older ungrounded 2‑slot NEMA 1‑15R receptacle, rated up to about 15A at 125V for indoor use. The metal grounding tab/eyelet on top is intended to be secured under the outlet cover screw so the adapter can bond to a grounded metal box.
