I really like this punisher. Not the best but I think Jane did fine. Good for it’s time. Great steelbook and cover. Worth it for the collection

The punisher in 4k with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos sound is a drastic improvement over the previous bluray realease. This movie was filmed in Tampa- St. Pete- Ft. Desoto(Pinellas county) The black level was outstanding. There is a little "grain" from the original film print. However the color is very intense and rich.

The PUNISHER is one of my all time favorite LIONSGATE 4K UHD Steelbook releases so far. Really Love this movie and crazy about this Steelbook package. LIONSGATE is hitting it out of the park with all these 4K Steelbook releases and this PUNISHER release is one of the best. Happy with this purchase and will most likely buy more LIONSGATE Steelbook's in the future.

The Punisher 4K Steelbook 2022 was shipped with a box. Best Buy must be reading reviews of how many are disappointed when they ship steelbooks with an envelope. Digital can only be redeemed with vudu or google.

Glossy steelbook with stunning design. The plastic slipcover layers over it very well, these steelbook releases have been awesome. My only complaint is that mine was dented. It sucks how often steelbooks here have damage to them.

Great Marvel movie outside of the MCU. Next to Jon Bernthal, Thomas Jane was a great Frank Castle aka The Punisher

Beautiful artwork inside & out for one of my all time favorite movies! I especially like how the disc artwork is part of the inner artwork behind it & I LOVE the plastic slipcover!!

Love the fight with the giant ruasian dude. And he ruined the antagonist on so many levels

Good Marvel movie. Story was really good. I had to add this to my Marvel collection. Great 4K and sound. There should be a sequel to this movie.

I think one of the best things is that this combines some cliche themes, shots, and cheese lines in a way that I still found enjoyable. They made it work - such that where I might otherwise groan here I could nod my head and enjoy it. Just to explain that - things like the perfectly timed thunderstorm arrival for a fight, the industrial noir grunge metal vent fan behind the whiskey downing hero, and a couple action sequence comments. The story was pretty serious, definitely not a light hearted movie. This was my first exposure to Punisher and I've started reading the comics now. After reading them, I appreciate this movie more - it's a great live action version. Thomas Jane does a great job. He's just made for gritty noir, although I loved him in Arrested Development. John Travolta... a great job, but he's got such a unique look and voice, it was a little jarring for me. Otherwise a great cast. Some great unique characters and actually quite touching story and message about family, about outcasts, and sticking together. It's a message that camaraderie is not just for soldiers, but can be found in unlikely places and outside of the service.

I finally found this movie in 4K. Was rather hard to track down in Blu Ray. The story line is awesome as well as the action scenes!! I highly recommend this to any punisher fan.

Bought this on black friday for $8 and it's definitely worth the upgrade for that price, for sure! I owned this movie previously on regular Blu-ray, and always felt that the picture quality was always rather flat, dull, and dirty. There was quite a bit of noise on that old transfer, like, black and white specks that pop-up all over the image, through out the movie. 4K UHD remedies all of those issues in strides! Now the image is much sharper, much more vibrant, and gone are the B&W pops on the screen. Plus, with HDR, the Miami sunsets look twice as gorgeous now... even though I hate that a Punisher flick takes place in Miami, and the gritty streets of NYC! While not perfect, I can at least tell that any issues with the image now are inherent to the source material, and not due to the transfer itself. This 4K release looks as good as this movie will probably ever look. Definitely worth the upgrade, if you are a fan of the film.
