Are the black and red wires for power or are they speaker wires? If not speaker wires how do they receive sound? I have a recever i was wanting to use but not sure what the wires are for

Will I be able to remove the internal speakers if I blow them out and replace them? Or are they permanently mounted inside the "bullet" shaped enclosure?
