This works for our Parish. Goose neck needs to be longer for taller Priest. Hope to purchase of one ( longer goose neck) in the near feature. Love the fact that the base is small, but very sturdy! We did line bottom of the base with felt. Came with just a bare cast iron base. Would have scratch the marble floors.

I love how solid this stand is. Substantial but not too heavy. The gooseneck turned out to be a little shorter than I needed (keyboard player) but would work great for guitar or vocals only. Will buy again if needed.

Quality: 3/5 - Plastic insert/lock gasket loose in box and breaks easily. Height with Gooseneck: 4/5 - If you bend the neck towards your face, the maximum height length barely reaches my mouth (I am 5'10). Telescoping portion is very thin for pop filter attachment clipons etc. Price: 5/5 Overall: 4/5 - If you are 6' or taller, do not opt for the gooseneck style.

Bought this for my husband who loves karaoke - big hit. Sturdy, and holds the different sizes of mics that we possess. Easy to adjust and the stand is sturdy. Great purchase for the money spent.

This stand isn't great for anything other than starting out. In my opinion it'd be better to save a little more money and just get a better stand. The threading to the gooseneck is only 14mm so if you intend on using this stand without the gooseneck to put an isolator on the stand it won't work. It isn't compatible and there isn't any adapters available for it. I saw this stand on Amazon as well and the reviews all say the same things. The stand doesn't screw into the bottom like pictures show. The threading to the gooseneck isn't 5/8 or 3/8 so you can't use the stand without the gooseneck. This stand is only for a mic for karaoke or a live performance. Not recording.
