The Shin Megami Tensei series has always felt like a more mature and feature rich version of pokemon, and this game continues that trend. This is a remaster of a PS2 era game and it still feels more fleshed out and interesting than any of the recent pokemon games have felt. Collect demons, use them in real time battles and progress the story by unraveling the mystery. Story is solid and the combat is a mix of mashy with a lot of strategy. Overall i reccomend if you are looking for a challenging monster collecting experience.

If you played the PS2 version, definitely get this game! A true SMT fan favorite! Such a fun and chill experience with a amazing story!

I enjoyed this game. I dabbled with the original from the PS2, but couldn't really get into it. This is a lot cleaner and crisper in terms of image. It plays a lot smoother and feels more like a more action RPG (sort of an arena combat thing going), also glad they added a few monsters from the newer SMT/Persona games so that shakes things up ever so slightly. Quite enjoyable especially if you like Atlus's other games

Game is super fun, and gives me a chance to finally play it since its hard to find the original anyways. I really like the fighting system too, keeps me more interested than full turn based or something

Great remaster of a PS2 classic. We need more games like this that try different things. Disappointed that physical version of the game is only on switch 1 but outside of that great game.

I will say is kind of fun. Altho this is a old game being remaster. Would recommed people who like story telling games kind.

It has to be close to 20 years ago, but I have the distinct memory of seeing this game at my local big box store. It always intrigued me, but I never had the cash to pick it up. Thankfully, it has been lovely remastered, and my gawd is this an incredible game. I truly cannot recommend it enough.

This game is awesome, was wary at first but of course Atlus came through with another great game! Combat is action based which is always good and the music is great!

I’m a huge Shin Megami Tensei fan and have not experienced this adventure originally on the PS2. I love the way the demons interact in this game. A lot of fun.

Gameplay was not what I was expecting based on Persona 5 but was great game til the end

Switch 1 version is on the card. Switch 2 version is not. Very little differences between the two. Maybe a slight bump in shadow detail but that's about it.

One of the most interesting games from Atlus. I am happy they remastered it.

This is the best entry point into the Shin Megami Tensei. Demon fuse only involves 2 demons… not six. You don’t have to worry about a morally system affecting the ending, just 1 ending. Overall this was a great 20 hour experience.
