very underrated gem from Atlus, and the remaster is more of a remake with how much effort they put in revamping the combat and all the QOL changes

Raidou remastered is fun to play. Atlus always makes great games. I purchased this game way after it launched and Best Buy still hooked it up with the pre order bonus. Thanks BB

If you like the SMT/Persona games you will like this. This changes the battles to action RPG with 2 assistant demons. You also use these demons to solve mysteries. Cool world design and sleek presentation.

I've played and still own the O.G. ps2 version and this remaster in my opinion is very good! Additional gameplay mechanics, visuals and voice over work brings new life to this old rpg.I did get the switch 2 version and had to bite the bullet with that not so popular game key card though. I'd rate this remaster an 8/10 for sure.

I grew up playing the ps2 Raidou games with my cousin, so seeing the series return is really special. Such a unique atlus game. There’s nothing else like it. The combat and visuals have been greatly improved here. The voice acting’s not amazing but the og didn’t have any so it’s a cool change. $50 is kinda pricey for a 20 year old game but the changes are worth it (and getting a ps2 copy is ridiculously expensive). This remaster/ remake is the best way to experience Raidou imo, I just wish the switch 2 version ran at a higher resolution in tv mode. Making the performance and visuals the same in tv and handheld feels lazy. This port was probably rushed since it came out so soon after the switch 2’s launch (and at least it launched in a better state than the p3 reload port), so it leaves a bit to be desired.

Been so excited for this after playing the originals. Very faithfully remake with a lot of quality of life added.

Feels underwhelming as a whole on Switch 2. Wish they put more work into this port. The game is quite fun though despite my grievances.

Good price, though it is a shame that it’s a game key card.

The game is good, but I'm disappointed in the game key-card route they are taking. Pros of key-card: You have a case to put on your shelf You *can* resell it if you don't like it, or after you finish it. Cons: All the cons tied to digital, but you have to plug a cart into your console to play it. If it gets pull from the eshop, the cart is useless. In the eventuality of the eshop for the switch 2 gets taken down, there goes your game. You have a piece of plastic. Common Nintendo.

Works very well on the switch ! If you are a shin megami fan you will enjoy this a lot. Do not expect a persona game because this is not what that is.

I will say I haven’t made it yet to this game to play but I have heard good things from friends and family

I had never played the original. Really good game with a fun combat system.
