I’m a little disappointed with the Meta Gen 3 glasses. First of all, when I unboxed the glasses, I noticed fingerprints on the lenses, which made them look like someone had already used them. The battery was also completely dead, with no charge at all. After comparing Gen 2 and Gen 3, I don’t see much difference in terms of weight, comfort, or battery life. There are slight improvements, but nothing significant enough to justify an upgrade. One major issue with Gen 3 is the connection delay. Every time I put on the glasses, it takes around 10–15 seconds to connect to my phone, which is frustrating. The Meta AI responses and suggestions are also not that impressive. They could definitely be more intelligent and useful. The one thing I really like about these glasses is the sound quality. If Meta could integrate a more advanced AI agent like Muse, it would completely change the experience. For now, these glasses feel more like AirPods and Siri built into a pair of glasses than a truly advanced AI wearable.
