I bought the Meta glasses for my boyfriend and they honestly exceeded our expectations. He was excited the second he opened them and has been using them every day since. The audio quality is amazing, the camera is super clear, and it’s so convenient being able to listen to music, take calls, and capture moments hands-free. What we both love most is that they don’t even feel like “tech glasses” they look stylish and comfortable enough to wear anywhere. He’s gotten so many compliments on them already and keeps telling me it was one of the best gifts he’s ever received. The battery life is solid, they connect easily to the phone, and the overall experience feels really smooth and modern. If you’re thinking about getting a pair for yourself or as a gift, I definitely recommend them. They’re fun, practical, and actually something you’ll use every day.

Having just purchased the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses (Gen 2), I can confidently say they live up to the hype—and then some. The immediate impression is that the quality is truly perfect. Ray-Ban has refined the design, making these feel like premium sunglasses first and smart tech second. They are remarkably lightweight and comfortable enough for all-day wear, easily blending into my daily aesthetic. The build quality feels robust, a significant upgrade from previous generations, offering a durable feel that justifies the investment. But where they really shine is functionality—they work perfectly right out of the box.

I honestly thought these would be gimmicky at first, but they’ve become something I use almost every day. The camera quality is surprisingly good for glasses, the speakers sound clear without bothering people around you, and the hands-free features are actually useful. Being able to quickly take photos/videos or listen to music without pulling out my phone feels super futuristic. The design also looks way more normal and stylish than I expected. Battery life could always be better, but overall these exceeded my expectations.

So first, the good; as sunglasses they're comfortable and they do the job. The AI is actually really good, and you can choose a couple of different voices for responses. With the recent updates, the AI is a bit more intuitive and sounds like you're having a conversation with the real human sometimes. Battery life seems to be pretty good and sound quality is very good when either using ai, listening to music or on phone calls. You can do everything hand free by just saying "hey meta" including taking pictures and video. You can also have meta upload your last picture or video taken directly to Instagram or to whatsapp. Camera quality is actually quite good and somebody's recent updates have increased the low light picture quality as well. It's really nice having the ability to take video from a POV without having a break out your phone or a camera. It makes life a lot easier if you like to do stuff like that. Now the bad; I am currently on my 4th set of meta Wayfarers. (More on that in a few minutes.) I started with a Gen 1 set, used them heavily and about 6 months later they shut off and never turned back on. Yes they were fully charged, they just powered off and died. I'm a total member so I was able to get a replacement, and I opted for the Gen 2 Wayfarers. Fun fact; with the Gen 1's you can do live video directly to Instagram or Whatsapp. (I think you can do it with Facebook live as well but I'm not 100%). I discovered after spending the extra money on the Gen2's that they had removed the ability to live feed to social media. Not a big deal but still a bit irritating. Apparently the Gen 2 have a better battery and subsequent better life, but I haven't really noticed anything yet. Photo quality is much better as well as video and you have the ability to shoot in 30 FPS or 60 FPS. Low light quality is much better than the Gen 1,'s. My first pair of gen 2s started acting up at the two months mark. Even when fully charged, they would randomly shut off. Again, total reward member so swapping them out was easy peasy. My third pair lasted for another 2 months, and then the same issue started happening; random shutdowns and stay off for a while, and power back up. rinse and repeat. Swapped them out yet again and I am now on my fourth set. We'll see how long these last. I'm at a month and a half, without issues but that doesn't mean anything. Stay tuned.

I didn't know what to expect when I purchased these Meta glasses because I knew so little about them. Wow! They blew me away with how amazing they are. A few simple steps on the Meta app and you are up and running. You can simply say "Hey Meta" and ask it just about anything from weather reports to facts or you can say take a photo or take a video. You can tap the button on the glasses once to take a pic or a long press to take video or just say "hey meta". You control the volume with a swipe on the side arm. I connected to amazon music, and I can simply say "Hey Meta play Michael Jackson songs" or whatever. The photos and videos are stored in the meta-app and you import them into your phone photos thru Wi-Fi. Another cool feature is live translation. I put on a Spanish speaking channel and told meta to translate to English and she translated everything with ease. Very cool! The meta-app is fun too, you can use the AI software to make fun photos and stuff. The battery is very long lasting, I had them on all day and the lowest I got to was 75%. The case charges them for you. Don't hesitate, these are such a cool thing to have!

Great for everyday use. The battery life doesn’t disappoint nor does the music quality. Just bare in mind the low end frequencies for music are very muddy.

Honestly love these I’m happy I made the right choice. I love how o can actually ride a bike and listen to music while I am aware of my surroundings. Haven’t played with the camera much but the lil stuff I have done I can say camera has a really good quality. I really love how I can go outside and glasses lens go dark and take about 30seconds to clear up if I go inside it’s really convenient. Battery life so far been great i used it for music the other day for about 2 hours and when i went to put them away they still had 83% battery life so i think that pretty decent. Overall they are great glasses happy with my purchase

Love love love them. They only die fast when you keep recording and use it for music like me other than that they are fire! The gray is not too dark but dark enough to give you that classic ray ban cool look. The clear lenses when transitioned give me the smart swag which I also love when I step out to work. Easy to set up. Music is surprisingly loud especially if you place your a finger on ur temple and kinda touching the glasses you get more vibration and sound. You can hear the music if you’re close to somebody but not too loudly. Aura +1000 with these ngl

These glasses look great and feel comfortable enough to wear all day. A little expensive but well worth it for the features! The audio and microphone quality is fantastic, i got these for work and they are consistently lasting my entire 8 hour shifts listenijg to music with minimal charging.
