I bought a 4 pack of these Rayovac 9 volt batteries and am using them in my DMM and smoke detectors. I use the DMM for 2 ~ 3 hours per day and this battery is still working after > 2 weeks (even with the back light on a lot of the time). It fits well in my smoke detector where other makes of batteries were a tight fit.

These are good batteries . I use these in my fire alarms and they seem to work good for me . I replace them yearly.

Just returned these things before opening. My father don't think it's wise to use nice new batteries for a fire alarm.
