Customer Ratings & Reviews

Product got here fast. This microphone is amazing, I love the gift I got. Thank you Best Buy.

[Employee of bestbuy] Excellent audio quality. Very good details that it picks up on. Great for vocals. Just make sure your room is sound treated, as it goes for any other condenser microphone.

I use the microphones often for dnd sessions with my group on discord and they complimented how crisp the sound came through made character voices pop and allowed me to really test my range.

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend and he said “If you like having fun with your voice, making harmonies and hearing each note exactly as u sung them without the distortion then this mic is a great choice. Even with very loud production my voice still cuts through which is hard to accomplish with a lot of other mics ive had.”

If you’re looking for a good microphone as an artist, or for just podcasts in general, this is a great microphone! It’s a condenser microphone, so it picks up all the audio and a 180° angle in front of it. Now for some podcasts it’s probably better to get a dynamic microphone as dynamic microphones do not pick up all audio in the room only audio that is in front of it! But if you’re a music artist like me, you wanna pick up all the tones in your voice all the highs so it contents or microphone is the best decision and rode Hands-down always knows what they’re doing. Like I said, don’t miss out this is by far the best microphone for the price for anyone looking to get into music making!

This product is great, it sounds great and can be tailored using the RODE app, and any other microphone adjustment software that you use, for whatever you want to use it for. HOWEVER, you must be extremely careful when buying a microphone arm for this mic. Going with whichever RODE branded arm is recommended is smart. Otherwise, you could end up having to engineer your way to making the mic fit. (Welding, DIY, etc.) Otherwise, great product.

I’m loving this microphone. It’s well made and the sound is good and the ability to configure the onboard controls is nice. I also like that it’ll do 32 bit float, though I haven’t used that yet. One disappointment was that the description makes it sound like you can use XLR and USB at the same Tim, but you can’t. The USB-C connection is inside the XLR connection so it’s impossible to connect both simultaneously.

Amazing audio quality. I had an issue on my desktop using it via usb-c, went out and bought an interface and hooked it up to the interface with XLR and the interface to my pc worked fine. I then bought a laptop a few months later, and low and behold the usb-c connection worked fine with this mic and the laptop.

This thing is amazing, its super easy to setup and its very high quality. Ive always used rode mics and have never been disappointed

I got this mic to amplify the sound in my virtual sound bath and it was great! Still playing with ways to maximize the sound and create the best experience but very pleased with the mic quality overall.

The sound is great with this mic, just be aware you’ll need to get the stand separately
