I did tons of research before finding the perfect shotgun mic for my price. This was perfect. Incredibly clear. Great highs and lows. Compact and easy to use. Highly recommended!

Have primarily used indoors so far. I'm not technical so in layman's terms, It seems to pickup sound very well and reproduces accurately. Have it on a 20' XLR cable directly into camcorder and using phantom power. In time, will test further in outside applications. Overall, satisfied so far.

I agree with the other reviewer. The quality of the build and the sound are good. The NTG3 is better in both aspects but it's also $700. Overall I would recommend it.

This microphone is a great choice for any videographer! It is not industry standard of course but its' performance comes really close. I would definitely purchase another one in the future.
