So easy to use just hooks right up! This is what use for content on reels YouTube and tiktok, sounds amazing!

I was recommended this mic by a former employee at Best Buy and I see a lot of Youtubers and film students that I go to school with use this and it’s been the best. It catch a lot of sound if you’re not even up close to the mic. This is a good beginner microphone for anyone that’s starting YouTube or starting their film journey.

Very compact, and still offers excellent sound quality. It works seamlessly with my Sony A7 IV.

I use this mic with my Sony FX30 with the xlr handle addition. I love the size and weight of it. I use the mic mount with a Wooden Camera Ultra Arm. The mic is too small to work in the built-in mic holder, but since you have the mount already with this mic you don’t have to use it that way anyway. I’m just using it as a shotgun to record nats at football games and practices, so I can’t speak to how it may be recording in quieter, more intimate settings yet. The sound is very directional as it’s described. Comes with foam windscreen and dead cat cover, so you should be pretty good in even the windiest settings.

What an awesome mic! This thing produces amazing sound indoors and out. Cones with a lit of accessories, though it doesn't come with a usb-c adapter. That is the only thing I think would be a nice addition, adding a usb-c.

The design, form factor, and great audio quality make it the perfect on camera shotgun mic. I currently use it on my fx3 and couldn’t be happier.

I was pretty impressed with the build of the mic. I bought it last minute to take with me on a backpacking trip and it was the right move because it barely added any weight and the sound quality was way better than my cameras microphone.

I’ve used it twice with a mirrorless Csnon R10 to record presentations from about 20-25 feet away from the presenter. The audio quality was very good for the size and distance (obviously not as good as a lav mic being worn). Very pleased with the performance.

I like the mic it is pretty entry level and affordable price. It is just better than the internal mic and that is all I needed.

Works well and I love the plug and play aspect of the mic. The form factor is great and fits right into the hot shoe. Sound quality is evident and much better than cheaper mics.

The Røde VideoMic Go II is a great mic for mobile recording. However, dont be fooled into thinking that the box includes the proper cables for your iPhone or that your existing USB-C to Lightning cable will allow you to connect the mic directly. The very fine print on the box tells you that you still need to purchase a special Røde cable (SC-15 or SC-19) that honestly should’ve been included in the box
