Good build quality and somewhat easy to use. However, there are quite some catches if you want to use it with your iPhone. 1 it didn’t work with the regular lightening cable for iphone. You have to buy a specific Rode SC15 Lightning Cable Lightning Accessory for this device in order to digital sounds quality for your iPhone. This is really hard to buy in the States. All vendors are out of stock. I managed to got one from eBay which I worried about the quality. 2 another option to work with iphone is to use 3.5mm video to lightening converter and the video cable RØDE - SC7 0.55' 3.5mm TRS to TRRS Patch Cable - Red that is easier to buy. You can buy this two cables at bestbuy. However, this method is not a digital transmission meaning the sound quality will not be as good as the first one.

These Rode mic’s are amazing. As a photographer/videographer and studio manager, I’ve used these for mic’d up games/matches, interviews and even podcast. They have a pretty far reach, so even if you’re recording a game and moving with the player you should be good. In adobe you can switch the audio around and get it to be able to listen on both sides of the headphones. I’d say these mics are also pretty easy to navigate in terms of the mic being muted. I would definitely recommend trying these out, and even the other accessories that they can come with or for purchase.

These wireless microphones have been working very well. The battery last long enough, the sound quality has been great. I love the fact that you can use either or or both together, have them synchronized to work as 1 instead of getting two different channels hearing one on the left and the other on the right. I also like that you can set the decibels either higher or lower to get a better quality sound. These product has been working great for my project.

Picked these up to use a for a phone-based documentary we’re shooting on my iPhone 14. Also picked up the RØDE SC15 USB-C to Lightning Cable to connect to my phone, and the audio is clean! We’ve shot a few things outside and indoors so far and are very satisfied! The clips make these mics nice and discreet!

RØDE mics have been a solid upgrade for my content. The audio comes through clear and professional, setup is simple, and it’s reliable on shoots where you don’t get a second take. Whether I’m recording talking head clips, interviews, or run and gun content, it consistently captures voice well without sounding thin or noisy. Build quality also feels strong, and the overall experience is just straightforward. Plug it in, hit record, and it works. If you want an easy way to level up your sound without overcomplicating your setup, RØDE is an easy recommendation.

Must have for any content creator. Simple to use and extremely compact. I’m glad I got the geek squad protection plan so I don’t have to worry about any technical issues that might occur in the future. Do your self a favor and step up your audio with the Rode wireless go ii.

Amazing quality and very easy to use with my Sony A 7iv I love that they just clip on and you are ready to go! As a one man team I shoot using a gimble and this makes it super convenient to get great audio from a distance

I love the Rode brand! I know most people empathize on video quality but what we all seem to forgot how important sound is. Someone who went to film schools and really studied the evolution of cinema and filmmaking I highly recommend have good quality sound. This is where the term talking pictures come into play. Sound evokes emotional responses, it emphasises what's on the screen and is used to indicate mood. I you want any of this to happen with the content you create no matter if it’s for the big screen, YouTube or just home videos I highly recommend a good mic and Rode is an excellent brand that has affordable and high quality option.

After trying out cheaper microphones for my YouTube channel, my husband and I decided to pay a little more and we are so glad we did. Watch my review video in my YouTube channel VICKY'S LIKES.

This is totally a case of "you get what you pay for." The Rode wasn't cheap, but I've already used it at dockside, and they got clear speech from my narrator at dockside. A filmmaker friend of mine recommended them, and I'm glad she did.

Requires occasional firmware updates through a dedicated computer app, which adds additional functionality. Pros Decent preamps, compact, built in mics. Cons Need to remember to update the firmware Built in battery which will inevitably fail to hold a charge, but unknown how long that will be, but it will eventually be e-waste.

I was super excited upon purchase of this product expecting an incredible improved sound quality compared to the cheap $25 mics i used o use previously for video recordings. However, i was suprosed to have the quality fo those cheaper mics beat these $300 microphones. Additinally, it comes with half the accessories that similar products come with making it more expensive to reproduce the functionality and utility that similar but much less expensive products offer.

These mics are amazing! Me and my husband bought them because we wanted to do podcast, yet we are terrible at trying to come up with conversations for a recording. These make it easy for us to record at all times and anywhere. They allow us to get more real recordings of ourselves. They're super great in places with noise as well as outside. All you need is what comes in the box.
