The Rode Wireless Micro is a cool lightweight mic kit that offers good sound in a small package. Rode is also now currently offering a Camera Receiver for free(you pay for shipping) to people that already own the kit or are purchasing the kit if you register the product on their website. I use it for YouTube videos and mobile podcast setups with my iPhone and the Rode Capture app. Definitely worth the investment.

I got the rode wireless mic because I was tired of ruined clips from bad audio and wind noise, What stood out immediately was how clean the voice capture is. Amazing mini mics. You really can’t go wrong with these when doing a budget broadcast production or vlogging! The audio is great, it’s super clear. Sounds a little far away but that’s easily fixed with just being super close to the mic. Not the GREATEST for being in super loud environments but that’s where audio filters come into play

Love it, but seems to be a factory issue lots of Reddit threads reporting that the left side randomly stops working…. Just like mine, but it appears to be covered under warranty! I just noticed this same issue today…. 60 days after purchase! Love them, otherwise, but need to do some kind of warranty swap… will update to 5 stars, once remedied.

I also like that it charges fast and the battery lasts long enough for multiple shoots in one day.

These are small, lightweight and sound is great! Battery life is pretty much what is advertised. The charging case is compact and easy to put into whatever you carry gear in, including pockets.

Simple plug and play setup and the audio quality is very good. You can clip it to a lapel or it also has a little mounting magnet on the clip you can use which is handy. The sleek little charging case is very reminiscent of an airpods case and holds both mics and the receiver plug, which makes storage very easy. I use this system for 10 hours of intermittent usage a day recording appointments for transcription at work and it has been extremely dependable. Would definitely buy again.
